Besides that, every damn inch of snow that has fell since the beginning of winter here in north central Wi. is still on the ground! We had no Jan. or even Feb. thaw, nor did we have more than 1 day where the temp rose above freezing since some time towards the end of Nov./2013. I don't care how low the rivers were last fall, they will fill up very fast if spring comes quick and with lots of rain. Watch!

Pretty boring forecast. How bout this: If there is an early spring, or even an extended unseasonably warm spell between now and May, with heavy April showers, your forecast is going to look pretty timid. The potential for ice jams is huge in that scenario, add to that the fact that the frost level is much deeper this year, the runoff will not seep away till that's gone.

I sure do LOVE these NWS forecasts SO MUCH over the HYPED-UP MEDIA IDIOTS talking about how many MILLIONS WILL BE AFFECTED and NAMING these snow storms! Of course as this system moves northeast, the liberal media hype-idiots will be having a FIT! LOL! Here in Northeast Iowa - We simply call this WINTER and we PREPARE for it!
