I am with you GenXgirl there are many evil narcissistic people that are sex addicts . I believe there are groups of these people that use and abuse using forced drugs that leave victims powerless. I have looked at missing persons and it is rampant across Canada for many years. They prey on the vulnerable but also if you look at all missing persons it is also boys men woman of any age as well. The numbers are more than you could imagine. Is it sex trafficking as well? My heart goes out to the aboriginal f amilies that have lost their loved ones and have never had justice or closure. It is deplorable that anyone degrades or puts such hate against the aboriginal people. These people are as responsible for the harm and deaths that have fallen upon these people. Corrupt leaders that need to be held responsible. Also the media does not report any missing people for many years so how can the public help by knowing the facts and possibly helping with information or connecting dots . The police have not put the time and effort to solve this ongoing tradigy and I am very sorry for that and for your pain. You deserve so much more.

In 2024, Edmonton, Alberta citizens are talking about approx 30 women being found dead in fields and ditches around their city since 2013/2014. The numbers are probably higher, because of the skewed reporting related to crime statistics.

In Prince George 1981 there were three women murdered. One dumped along the highway and another in a wooded lot behind Harwin Elementary. I lived next to those woods, and across from the school a relative lived. They had moved their family to get away from someone who was terrorizing the lower mainland. Clifford Olsen. I was 13 and had gone to an allnight carnival and the girl in the lot had been there too ... I learned from a very early age the world isn't safe for women.

This was an amazing and insightful documentary. It’s a shame that everyone seems to know there is an issue but still no changes have been made. Many women are still in danger and without actual implementations of change, these murders and disappearances will continue to occur. I hope that the Canadian government can make steps to fix this problem.

In this age of social hyperconnectivity, development of cooperative learning networks where children can safely explore and discover themselves-their aptitudes, talents and passions-by leveraging communication and experiential instructive resources while growing up at home may serve to disuade them from choosing to travel in unsafe manner away from their homes in search of these things. But society cannot seem to stop commercially victimizing children by urging them to seek satisfaction in exploitative environments and endeavors which never provide satisfaction for such natural urges of growth and maturation.

This generational trauma is just beginning to end- as the last residential school to ever exist closed in 1997. Meaning the last of the survivors, are mere 30 year olds. Today’s generation of Gen Z- are on a decline for drinking and drug use; so much so that it’s been recorded that Gen Z actually drinks 20% less than any other previous generation (this includes native Americans- I would know because I’m a 23 year old Native American and neither my brother, sister or myself drink and we are all Gen Z). Your comment is completely unnecessary and insensitive; as that’s not what this documentary was about whatsoever. This documentary is about the retched continue of young women going missing and murdered, both Indigenous and Caucasian.

People are still going missing in the lower main land and well all over. Im sad when i see new posters being put up . Not just women but men also. I always warn people that i meet, dont trust anyone if you dont know them. Always remain vigilant and find safer transportation. Being under the influence is the hardest part cause it puts most in vulnerable situations. Good to see some familiar faces from Prince george. Well done with the making of this film. bless everyone who lost someone. Take care.🫡

Citizens know that car thefts are used to easily have mobility when doing other crimes, kidnapping happens to isolate a person in order to abuse or murder. Society pays for citizen safety, that is not being done. The big question is why do citizens allow that...

When I see all the transfer payments paid to Quebec and Ontario I shake my head. These communities have improper transportation between communities. I see our east coast suffering unemployment with the devastated fisheries. I see northern communities with out proper plumbing or water, no proper roads into their community. Our northern territories suffer from a lack of funds. Quebec has billions of dollars in surplus and I think what is wrong with this picture. These communities don't have proper representation in our government. If all of Canada votes yes and Ontario and Quebec vote no, the rest of Canada looses. I come from a rich province Alberta and I believe we should pay transfer payments to help our country. I don't believe we should separate, we are stronger together, but I feel we are misdirected as to what our priorities should be. I am of white ethnicity and have been guilty of too much prejudice through my life, I am guilty even if it was secret about it sad to say. I catch myself fighting, striving to be a better human being. I do better at 68 years but I still catch myself in wrong thinking sometimes. Just a thought

Disgusting that it’s always been about Ontario. When you ask Americans what they know about Canada- first thing they say is Toronto, and second is Ontario. Canada is far bigger than the USA, but with smaller communities and longer stretches of land between cities. None of the existing Prime Minister’s have ever done any justice for British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon or Northwest Territories.. The west is forgotten, and when talked about a divide from Quebec- I wish they’d offer that opportunity to the west so we could finally take the loving care needed for our hurting people both North and South.. Fuck the East, I want to move out of Canada completely because of the fucking East.

Maddy's remains were found last year- i saw the posters and billboards pleading for her safe return, my cousin taken and murdered thankfully her remains found quickly although never to return her to family but to close unanswered questions. I have travelled from Prince George to Smithers and had locations pointed out to me where remains were found. It is a very surreal drive of many, many hours.
