  Hi, I have a question. I am using an Optical Receiver like in the video to run a Wifi Router. Normally it will stay at Green Normal, but today they turned red causing internet loss even though there is still signal. I searched on google to fix it but there is no article about it. Please can you help me?

  firstly, we suggest you to check the fiber connection. the led turn red means it do not receive optical signal.

  buenas con el edfa tambien se puede amplifiar la señal del olt o solo la onda de catv o sera que lo mescla tanto del catv y del olt y aumenta la señal quiteme esa duda

  EDFA no puede amplificar la óptica de OLT. Sólo puede amplificar la óptica CATV. Luego mezcle la óptica de OLT y CATV, salida juntos.

  Tengo un problema. Mi transmisor que no transmite imagen hacia el cliente (Televisor). Le cuento. Tengo un transmisor WOLCK VT-1510D, con los siguientes valores por defecto: * LD_Power: 10.3dBm * RF Out: 111dBuV (Creo que tengo que reducirlo, pero no sé los procedimientos para hacerlo). Estoy conectando hacia un EDFA Wolck VTA-EY1620D a través de un Splitter 1x8 (con esto me llega en 0 db aprox). Sin embargo aún no tengo imagen de tv. ¿Alguna idea de lo que está pasando y cómo solucionarlo?. Espero pueda ayudarme.

  thanks your information. for the device is not from us, I can only provide some possible solution. Hope they are helpful for you. Firstly, please check your TV source is CATV or satellite source. The transmitter and the EDFA support the source or not. Second, the optical receiver is correct or not. Can it support your application or not? If your source is satellite, you need to choose the optical receiver that can support satellite.

  @@baudcom8961 Gracias por responder. Ya dí con la solución. Estaba por el lado de la configuración en la administración del modulador. Hice 2 cambios: * Editar la frecuencia que viene por defecto y considerar del rango ISDB-T aprobado en mi país (Perú). La primera que puse es: 473.000 MHz. * Establecer el Chanel a: -10dbm Espero que también le sirva a otros.
