    Hai, I am from India, currently I am working on phoenix and california projects I am struggling on understanding the us plan and not having key framing of roof and floor plan. If you could provide some ideas for roof and floor framing it would be useful for many engineers like me. Also not able to understand the connection part and how to check for connection calculation..

    This was a lovely presentation and I enjoyed the humor of the family of four... I am curious to the three inches of elongation and then failure... I would love to know the ass-built profile vs installation and failure ratio... I am theorizing that the profile creates excess torque in the strands and they bind and change their point of "pulling" not on the "dead-end" as much as pulling "midstream" on the bond strands (as in they are twisted and locked)...

    One additional note regarding fasteners: when shear loads are very high, bolts are required. These are welded to the support members & MFRS.

  • @runesvensson1244
    @runesvensson1244Ай бұрын

    But, how would you distribute the load from the bolt to avoid pull-through? We use many small fasteners instead, "evenly" spread out.
