Official Videographer of the Hagerstown Speedway. I formerly videoed from the grandstands in an amateur capacity from 2008-2012, but now am back, in a partnership with Jason Walls of WRT Speedwerx to do official full race videos under the new WRT Media banner.
This is the rebranded channel of what formerly was CasyMers41 for those who have been here since the 2008-2012 videos

#30………🤣🤣 I guess the whole field can’t be good at driving
Congratulations Mr. Reed !! Great driving!!
So nice to see my local track still around. Been a long time since I've been out at the track. Gonna have to start coming out more often.
Great job again guys keep em coming.. We all appreciate your hard work

Did the cameraman leave with the rain?
No. During the first set of rain, I took shelter in the scoring tower. However, the moisture affected my primary camera, so the heat races I had to video with just an action camera, which has no zooming capabilities. Once the 2nd rain came at the end of the 3rd Pure Stock heat race, the show was ended. The 4 feature races will be made-up in the coming weeks.

I don't know when the yellow came out or if it even did, but if it did, it was way late. If it didn't they don't know what they're doing.
No reason for that guy to pull back up in to the middle of the track. He was almost to the bottom and went back in to the middle. Low IQ and does not need to be driving anything, especially a street vehicle.
Why did they not throw the yellow
They say the driver is okay, but that's only physically. Mentally & financially not so much.
First time at Hagerstown Speedway from North Carolina. Nice facility and awesome racing. Thanks for the show
Caution should have been thrown sooner.
Yeah, at first glance I'd agree. But analyzing it more, my best guess is that officials figured he'd stay against the inside guardrail where he already was. By the time the #11 passed him on the inside and we all realized he was drifting up the track, it was only 3 seconds later when the 32X hit him. So yeah, the caution could've been slightly sooner, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it actually would've made.
I think the lesson is it's never too soon to throw the caution flag. If there is a situation on the track that warrants caution, you throw the caution rather than wait to see how it unfolds.

Per - Facebook Austin is okay and will be returning when he can
You guys do a great job with your coverage...thanks.
I still dont understand why these facilities dont have any sort of catch fence integrated into the wall. Even some of the lowest budget podunk places have them. I'd refuse to race at a facility that didnt take safety serious.
I saw a fatality just last year when the driver's cage impacted a fence pole. Fences aren't always the answer. I do question having large trees close to the track though.
What's not to understand? They're expensive. Tracks don't make a lot of money.
To be honest, we are thankful that the trees were there to slow his momentum. What people don’t see, is that there is a creek/river about 5-10 feet away from where he landed. Had the trees not been there, he probably would have landed in the water. I do believe that the track will be considering some other safety options for the future, but we hold no ill will. It was a random accident. We know that these things can happen anytime we send our loved ones out there. There is no “perfect” or “safe” track when you are doing 100mph+ in any race car. We will most definitely be back to Hagerstown this year! 👍🏼
glad he wasn't hurt any worse .
His hand didnt make it
His hand is fine, just a puncture wound.
@@AmyScott47thanks for the update my brother and I were there
👍
Would it be okay if we used portions of your crate race feature for our video? Videographer was out of town and we have only limited footage from the infield.
Yes, that would be ok.
Great footage as always. Thanks for doing this!
holy shit that flip was insane
I guess it has been raining yall out
Yes. First was the Lucas Oil late models, which we wouldn’t have videoed anyway due to FloRacing having their video crew there, but they rained out anyway. Then this past weekend rained out too. This coming weekend has no racing either due to a massive fundraiser event for our local first responders that takes place every year. Racing is scheduled to resume May 18th.
I've got my popcorn & I'm ready. Looking forward to the full season. Glad you got some sponsors & can post free cause that is within my budget. Thanks. Do you know what the banking is in the turns? Looks like a really good track.
Great content again. Is there anyway to lower the volume on the announcer so that we can turn up the volume and hear the cars better in future videos? Thanks!
I'll try to make some adjustments to the next video and see how that sounds.
You better not be asleep when they announce a yellow flag.
ayeee i was here in person, and the 20 that won in the classic series signed an autograph for me!!
Awesome, look forward to watching for the whole season
Lets go Andy Anderson!!!
Do u plan to do anymore full shows like this one
Yes, thanks to our sponsors we plan to do this for nearly every event at the Hagerstown Speedway this season.
👍and an extra 👍 for all the timestamps.
I drove an 18 wheeler for 9 years. I used to stop & stay in Hagerstown regularly. No doubt I would have tried to make a show if I had only known. Truck drivers need to know these things. If you could post some information at the truck stop, it would be a great thing. I've done a lot of shopping at the mall near the truck stop. Brings back good memories.
Great footage of all the races. Hopefully you do more of these throughout the season.
Our plan is to be there for nearly every event this season.
Thank You!
I was here last week when it got rained out
Thanks for the hard work on putting this together, Jason!
Nice!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
This still eric myers or did WRT buy the channel?
This is the old "casymers41" channel. I videoed Hagerstown 10-15 years ago from the grandstands, then Sports Plus Videos essentially had me banned. I took a 10-year hiatus, then with nobody officially videoing the speedway anymore, in a partnership with WRT I'm back videoing as the official videographer of the speedway now.
@@WRT_Media Yea I thought so, I got the talking to from the video plus guy and the speedway bc I filmed as well. Never uploaded but I just filmed to filmed. But good to see you're back filming. We sponsored crazy Kenny and Chris ebersole and younger back then so we all watched your stuff.
Thank you for this!
New microphone please
