I've learned that David Draiman and Disturbed address depression, addiction and suicide during every concert, performance offering support and understanding. They are one of the most popular, loved bands of our time! 😊❤❤❤

This song has so many different meanings... When schools, especially public schools from kindergarten through high school run out of funding the first programs they cut ✂️ are the art's, music, theater etc. Also, ISOLATION, DIVISION, LONELINESS, NOT COMMUNICATING, NOT STANDING UP FOR OUR RIGHTS OR EXPRESSING OURSELVES AND WHAT WE BELIEVE IN, I could go on and on..

ce on Conan. NOTE: that David Draiman was really sick for the Conan live performance and I heard he was not pleased with his performance, being the perfectionist that he is I can understand why he felt that way. However, the production as a whole performancewas amazing and his was EXCEPTIONAL! I loved it. So POWERFUL and EMOTIONAL! - Disturbed "The Sound Of Silence" 03/28/16 | CONAN on TBS Team Coco

OMG, the tissues I've 🤧 gone through since I discovered David Draiman and Disturbed performing their rendition of "The Sound of Silence" on April 29, 2024. That day I have to believe my spirit 🙏 guides (out of the blue) first led me to a cover video by Dan Vasc singing "Amazing Grace" which was phenomenal 👏 and then to the cover video of Disturbed and David Draiman singing this most POWERFUL, EMOTIONAL 😂rendition of Simon and Garfunkels "The Sound of Silence". NOTE: For those interested, here's some history on Paul Simon, who wrote the song in 1964... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sound_of_Silence I'm 75 and was 15 when they released one of the most popular, iconic classical songs of our time during the 60's. It's amazing how relevant it is today. Actually I feel it is even more relevant now than ever, and how we're so attached to our electronics and don't actually share our thoughts and feelings with each other. Because of that it actually becomes more difficult to do so. We are losing our ability to really be able to communicate with each other. No wonder we've become so divided. I've spent days listening and seeing the many Reactional channel hosts and each of your reactions and hearing all of your comments, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I still 😢 almost every time I watch and listen to it. I've also noticed that more males have shown more emotion and gotten teary-eyed than the females, just an observation. Thanks, from Diane ❤ 😢

Great reaction, my friend but this original video for the song that you've used, the song was severely edited & truncated (for tv showings) *use instead the audio only or the new "lyric video" - where the full track is complete But terrific reaction, my friend! x

The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel is sad resignation. The Sound of Silence by Disturbed is Dammit, LISTEN! ***** The Warning ***** "And the people bowed and prayed, to the neon god they made." ~ Paul Simon "And the people bowed and prayed, to the golden calf they made." ~ Old Testament

Didn’t you hear, Lester is a black person 🤪 there are black folks in this show but it doesn’t center around race, well not until the 4th season where there’s a dip in the overall show. The 4th season has the best cinematic effects and editing but it fail to live like the first three did but to each there own. Season 5 is shaping out to be great but season 2 is the best thing on tv outside Noah Hawleys other show “Legion”

Chronically 'old' as you said but its solid construction, value and fresh sound just throws in shame a lot of todays autotuned faceless generic projects that i'm sure won't be remembered and danced to after 44 years that this one was recorded.Have a fine weekend.

ABBA is the iconic Swedish pop quartet, the best, most versatile and most important of the 70s, in the post BEATLES decade (the revolutionary group of the 60s) ABBA, as in its time BEATLES, was a musical and cultural phenomenon, and its legacy lives on ABBA is the biggest musical act in the history of both continental Europe and the non-English speaking world They are the first non-English speaking group to have considerable success in major English-speaking countries And is the first group to break with the hegemony of NorthAmerican, English and Australian artists in the music market dominated by British culture. ABBA is an acronim with the initials of their first names; initialy was two swedish couples too: A- Agnetha (blonde lead vocal) & B- Björn (guitarist and songwriter) B- Benny (pianist and songwriter) & A- Anni Frid (brunette lead vocal) (both couples separated before the breakup of the group in 1982) ABBA recording between 1972/1982, have a wonderful series of more than 20 worldwide hits, included nine singles #1 in UK: Waterloo Mamma Mia Fernando Dancing Queen Knowing me knowing you The name of the game Take a chance on me The winner takes it all Super trouper And after more than 35 years ABBA return to studio in 2017 and recording a full new album "Voyage" between 2017/2021 released in November 2021 and is a worldwide succes And in last May 2022 all four ABBA members asist to the premiere of the new Voyage concerts (with avatars of Theirself) in the new ABBA Arena at London UK (another greatest success,, with tickets on sale to November 2023) ABBA begin Your famous when They win the classic Eurovisión Song Contest in UK with the icónic song Waterloo in April 6 (1974) exactly 49 years ago The ages of all ABBA members now is 73 Agnetha Fältskog 76 Benny Andersson 77 Björn Ulvaeus & Anni Frid (Frida) Lyngstad

"Gimme gimme gimme (a man after midnight)" (1979) is a song influenced by American disco, after the success of the Bee Gees and the movie 'Saturday night fever" from the year before In this song you can see part of the volume and range of voice that the blonde singer Agnetha has ABBA was preparing their 1979 Tour of America and Europe, in the previous one , They recorded this song and filmed the official video These is an official video in which all ABBA is seen in the recording studio, including staff musicians (bass, guitarist and drummer) and sound engineer Michel Tretow at the controls, creator of the well-known 'ABBA sound' with his innovative 'wall of sound' multiplication technique (an adaptation of the works of Phill Spector) These is a short versión, but in last months ABBA did new official lyric video of "Gimme gimme gimme" full versión The introduction and the instrumental ending, that characteristic sound of Benny's keyboards, is what Madonna used for her worlwide hit "Hung Up" in 2005, 26 years later... (with the permission of the composers Björn and Benny, granting them share the credits) Surely for the latter, with more than 370 million views, the original video with the shorts versión is the second official ABBA video with the most views on KZread (behind "Dancing Queen", which has excedeed 700 million views) and also for this last reason, surely "Gimme gimme gimme (a man after midnight)" is much more popular now than in its time when it was released it was #3 in the UK, it wasn't even released in the US now also a centerpiece at the new ABBA Voyage concerts in London Another interesting date is that these is one of songs tgat ABBA recorded in spanish: "Dame Dame Dame" (1980) and ABBA performed it in an interview to Spanish TV Thank you again for these video See you in the next ; GOD bless you My best regards from Buenos Aires , Argentina 🇦🇷 South America
