Inspiring... I am shooting a baptism this weekend myself... Can I ask you, what questions did you ask the couple? I loved the dialogue with audio... Enhances the story.

Thank you so much! And sorry I am just now seeing your comment. I like to ask questions that I know will help drive the story. 1. I always ask them their name and how to spell it in case I want to use lower thirds. 2. Describe what is happening today. 3. Why is this event significant for your child? 4. What do you hope for your child as they get older? 5. When your child watches this twenty years from now, what is some advice you have for them or something you want them to know? I keep my questions minimal unless they aren't answering in the way I need them to. Sometimes I tell them what to say or how to word what they are trying to say. This just helps make sure the dialogue is smooth when I go to edit the video. I hope this helps :)

Really listen to what they are saying in their answers. Sometimes they will say something interesting that you can ask a follow up question to. One last tip, always ask open-ended questions. NEVER ask questions that can be answered with a "yes" or "no".
