  I'm new to the game and playing on console, which is a little rough, but I'm not diehard about gaming either. I've tried maybe 5 times over the past year to get into ck3 and just didn't have the patience... Never sure what I should be doing and always felt like things weren't happening fast enough. Anyway, I followed this not for the achievement, but just to see, if I got off to a solid start, things would start happening and it would actually be fun. By the time I got to the northern part of the island, the guy I needed to attack was ALSO allied with William through marriage.... So I waited two years and murdered his son in England to break the alliance....that was satisfying..... THEN he was allied with another Duke right in Ireland and I couldn't fight them both. I just don't think this game is good on console, and it moves a little slow for casual players. Still, I might follow this and try again. Thanks for taking the time to make and post it!

  Damm, the gunner is so strong. Is it me or there was not a single magnet drop? it is a hazard 4 thing...?

  The Thunderhead is super strong! Hazard 4 does have magnets. They aren't as necessary for the Gunner, who can blast his way through enemies to get XP, but they are very important for the Engineer and Scout.

  Yeah, didn't expect that guy to be so fast. It's what happens when you don't kill the elites fast enough. The bugs get stronger and faster.

  I think that on 5:00 you could have abused from the drilling and killed everyone and then get the magnet... i mean can you exploit it and maybe make 10-15 levels on one run single pickup? think about it...

  Definitely could have waited till later to pick up the magnet, but I've also had runs where the elite chases me the other way across the map and I don't have time to run back and get it. Knowing when to pick up the magnet is very useful for maximizing the XP gain.

  Haha, it was a mistake to try too many new things at once. Engineer is a tough class to play, especially in the early levels, but if you can get an army of turrets, the elites and dreadnoughts go down real fast.

  this is the most infuriating playthrough of the tribunal, 82% chance to shoot the main bad guy and you go with "we can reason with them!!"

  You can pick a guardian for yourself which i usually go with the the king of France since he is old with a lot of learning and pedagogy to give you extra skills. Also you can try the Meet Peers decision but the first one noone shows up for me so i have to do it 2x to get the prestige to fight my half bro.

  i don’t understand why i have to control the Popes land to do this. Any tips on how to take Rome? any time i try to take it i get excommunicated. and that makes since tbh

  Late reply and although I only ever do it with a custom christian faith, you could still do this fairly easily if leave rome for last. Go for alexandria, jerusalem, antioch and constantinople first (when the abbasids and byz are in multiple internal wars is best which is common in the current version) . I imagine this is much easier when playing as the orthodox byzantines though

  Thanks for this comment! I've moved to a new city and am taking on a new role at work, so I haven't made time to record any videos. But this is a good reminder to either record some new content or to try streaming again. My new internet is supposed to be faster, so hopefully there won't be huge lag spikes like before. I've been wanting to play XCOM: Chimera Squad at some point, maybe go back and finish Alan Wake since I played Control recently.

  Me too. I dont understand. Is it due to choosing female dominated and keeping minimal daughters? My kingdom of hausaland keeps on being split with every generation. And the kingdom always gets passed onto a person of not my dynasty.

  Improvements to direct holdings gets you more money. Once you have a ton of vassals you get so much gold. Also ransoming prisoners can get you a lot of gold, especially since you are aggressively expanding a lot in this playthrough.

  It doesnt matter now, you have finished the game but i think you can unequip the mods for the weapons.

  One thing I noticed was if you reset lifestyle then you lose the diplomat perk so might be better off just going from the start.

  Quick question: What happens if you try to siege of fort level 6+ with only Tribal-era Onagers (max fort level 5)? Does their +0.2 Daily Siege Progress bonus is negated entirely? So it is the same as sieging with only levies? Or is it still helping even below the 'max fort level'? I am doing a pure Tribal-only playthrough. Where everyone else already has fort level 10+ and I am unable to upgrade my Siege weapons due to Tribal innovation technology lock. I do not know if it's better for me to keep the Onager men-at-arms or just ditch them entirely for more fighting troops, if the Onager's siege bonuses are completely negated to any fort above 6+
