Your video helped me repair my Jag CD. I lifted the CD platter part with the use of a mini screwdriver. Had to apply more pressure than I felt wise, but when I felt a tiny pop and it moved up slightly, the job was accomplished (and I didn't even have to take the unit apart). Now it spins freely (when not powered on). Thanks again!

He neglected to mention that the voltage pin is not used at all and should be covered to prevent it from touching the ground wire. The voltage pin would only be used for an RF connector to power the RF circuitry.

If you take off the top, you'll find that it has two Famicom-style cartridge slots, with the front one having a Famicom-to-NES L-adapter. If you cut a slot at the appropriate place, you could also use Famicom games with that one.

Tio tienes la misma consola que mi La NES version española. Lol so I moved to America and I got the European charger for the nes the 220volts or something like that and it doesn't fit in the American plug so I bought an adaptor. But the thing is I think because in America the output for your wall charger is 110volts? Idk but I know it's less. My nes won't turn on. Do you have a fix for this other than buying a complete other new adaptor?

What gage wire do you need for the hsync and vsync connections? I'm thinking its the same size as the csync, but I dont know the formula to determine the wire thickness. The wires I used are too thin.

Thanks for this video !!! I am going to perform them reset I had already done years back and also done as a kid in 1986. I only suggest taking the cardboard out as only creates more heat in the chips where some already get so hot. Better yet on the Sid chip and CPU maybe more chips with some thermal tape some heatsinks on it. They will keep working longer and sometimes there is a heatshield from Commodore itself that is better than nothing. Sure the Vic2 chip all the way, it gets boiling hot. But often have a cover on it for cooling. Gr Ed

I just tried that c-sync mod, got a good place to take the pin 156 signal and seated up resistor and capacitor as is in the schematic and all I got is a withe screen. photos.app.goo.gl/e11oB1NMifS2C23s6 this my setup. The only difference is that my resistor is a 82 instead 74 homs and the cap is 16v instead 4v. 220uf I'm sending this signal to a composite conector to the tv. Is that ok or this is for another kind of connectors?
