Why are you talking in metres and even with the incorrect spelling as well? I thought and even to this day distances are measured in chains and yards on railways, no?

The potential of this wonderful railway is breathtaking. As we can see here, it can involve all kinds of transport, even these beautiful road traction engines. And the future potential to run various vintage bus services between a Helston terminus to and from the Lizard, Portleven and Penzance could also be a major tourist attraction alongside the railway, as Robin Jones of Heritage Railway brilliantly explained this month. For many years after 1964, this railway was a sleeping giant....but is now well and truly awakened!

Great work and real progress. The nearby viaduct area is something very special. The majestic viaduct itself is special of course, but the grand horseshoe leading up to it is also very special, creating a stunning amphitheatre for passengers to enjoy, a bit like the curving Glenfinnan viaduct on the West Highland Line. With a skilful bit of tree clearing on that horseshoe, the views from the train should be absolutely gorgeous!

It would be cool if they powered some rides with steam power. Thanks for the great video. I love a good Autumn fair. My local fair used to be in September. But some idiot had the bright idea to move an Agricultural Fair to the end of July. Thus no fall harvest for the farmers to enter in the competitions.

I don't like how all these places with beautiful vintage rides...end up in a warehouse..is so dark and steril looking... no the same as experiencing these outside..and being able to take amazing photos out in the nature under the blue sky...and green grass beneath.! 😢 it's just so sad how ugly the background is...and is a waste on the rides to be honest! I was looking for a vintage steam fair and that's when i found out about Carters who always do it outdoors and is amazing... but now they're selling out and will end up in one of those warehouses as well! Shame! 😔 I wish i was a rich millionaire so i can be one of these fairs and acute put it on a proper outdoor place! I honestly don't understand why they don't just take it out for the summer season and then put it back in for winter...or just build a shade outside ,that can be removed in summer and spring...so that way the equipment doesn't have to be moged constantly??? These places are such a fail..sorry but I've seen videos from Cartes fair and heard people talk about it and the atmosphere is so much better....there's old classic running on the background, there's arcade music from some rides... like the carousel...and there's just overal funfair atmosphere unlike in those warehouses where it feels like you're in a mall.... even tho the who point of this is to feel like you're back in time, in the 1900s..and they certainly didn't have malls back then... 🙄
