  Think it is appropriate that a physics teacher showed you that "proof". As far as the Archimedean property, it is difficult to show a number between ".99..." and 1 using base 10 digits. The problem exists in all number bases. You can show that there are many nunbers between, one in each base higher than 10.

  no harm in applying because there are always opportunities for scholarships but if not, it is definitely not worth out of state tuition to a state school.

  I love how candid, vulnerable, honest, and brave you were in these posts. I am a 50+ year-old woman, who never rushed in college, and always felt like maybe I missed something. But watching this, I truly feel like I probably dodged a bullet and your experience has helped me advise my college-bound daughter in what is truly important for her success and self-esteem in this new chapter of her life. She is precious to me, and is truly a delightful young woman who happens to be on the autism spectrum. I fear that the Greek system would be brutally judgemental, and I thank you for this video which I think will be very helpful to her as well. Since you posted this 2+ years ago, I am betting that you are succeeding brilliantly in your life, and I wish you ALL the best!! Many, many thanks for this heartfelt and honest post.
