More recently, I've acquired a DJI Mini 4 Pro, so I'll also be sharing drone flight videos during our travels. Old business class is awful, passengers having to climb over each other

Hi Ken & Steve Good review again thanks. Have used the BA arrivals lounge at T5 and due back in August flying from Cape Town. That lounge shuts at 1.30pm I think and certainly had no valet ironing. So its the luck of the draw if your flight arrives at T3 or T5 as the AA option in T3 seemed much better for BA Club World passengers. All the best David
Thanks David for the feedback. We really enjoyed the AA Arrivals Lounge. It’s quite a bit smaller than the BA one at T5 so it could get busy at certain times, but otherwise it’s quite impressive.

Thanks for your comment! I used the DJI Pocket 3 camera and my phone Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for the video. They both shoot amazing videos.
They can put a wooden stopper on the champagne bottle that has already been opened instead of leaving it open.

We fly into Fort Lauderdale and cruise out of Miami so will arrive late at night and likely not get to enjoy much of the hotel, but this video was very helpful. Thank you for posting!

You mentioned you took bus #3… What is the name of that stop when you got on? So on our return to the ship we get off on the right stop? Thank you so much!

The stop was just right outside the port, I didn't recall a name. For the return, they were many buses that headed towards the city centre, so we just got one and then got off near the centre, as we wanted to explore the city a bit.

Thanks for watching. It's very easy to get around the island using public transport like buses. You need to be happy to do some research on your own, but I think overall there is no issue. After all thats how many of the non-cruise visitors do it.

I noticed the life preserver with your outfit. Does it have a solid backing? I am planning to wear a chest rig bag (Osprey Archeon Chest Rig bag) to carry my smartphone, point and shoot cam or insta360. Just curious if the chest rig bag will interfere with the life preserver.
It only needs to be fastened when you’re on the zodiac boat, so I think it should be fine

Une immense déception. Cette compagnie ne soigne pas les détails et son "amour" pour la culture française et la croisière traditionnelle n'est que du marketing. Les animations sont horriblement ringardes, hormis un remarquable et unique concert de piano (piano Steinway). C'est la seule animation qui m'a impressionnée. Les passagers ne questionnent même pas la qualité de ces croisières hors de prix, sur des navires austères (L'Austral) et à la décoration peu audacieuse. On mange mieux avec des compagnies de moyenne gamme. Nous avons eut au dîner de gala un fraisier avec une unique fraise, aussi invraisemblable que cela puisse paraître (véritablement un pavé composé d'un biscuit avec une généreuse couche de crème au beurre, le tout surmonté par une unique fraise coupée en deux). Il ne suffit pas de servire du caviar pour revendiquer le prestige de la gastronomie française ! En tant qu'amoureux de paquebots, d'histoire et d'art, j'ai été très déçu d'une compagnie que j'ai idéalisée...

When i felt the swimming pool it was hot asf ngl and its a very fancy cruise

With the revised flight routes taking longer, and reduced amenities onboard, not worth the price. Cathay or BA are both much better on this route.
That is the case, unfortunately. The duopoly has driven up the prices though. If you want to travel in comfort in business class and don't mind the detour, you can sometimes find a bargain with Finnair. It's worth exploring all options to get the best value for your journey.
