  Got another video on the canal on my channel where I give a few tips… just fish the smaller perch fish structure and always have your eyes on the water, best perch will come in summer when there feeding up its a ridiculously tricky water to perch fish in winter especially with lures…

  All depends on the day, there is usually a consistent number in the ports and can almost always bank on one or two saving the blank whereas coasts are obviously much larger expanses so harder to fish

  @@grahamgerman3125had a few bass on it so far, bigger size would probably be more versatile especially when there’s abit of chop, I like the bone colour

  Cracking video pal. I’m venturing down to Devon and Cornwall in August for a weeks fishing. Just got into LRF, I’m absolutely loving it, still L getting to grips with it, I’ve got the Aikido 1-5g and 1000 size reel myself. 👌

  I have tried a lot wirh homemade fishing rods and hooks but never catched anything Any advices ?? Also what is the best bait for tiny fishes

  Easiest thing is probably try sight fish, sport the fish with your eyes and gently lower a hook with a worm on the end not much that will turn down a worm. Keep the hooks small and a light line and you won’t got far wrong!
