I love the truth that this message brings into the world today. Your statement of "feeling trapped by the erroneous wisdom of the age" is right to the point of the secular doctrine. It shows the lack of respect toward the spiritual doctrine that we as disciples of Christ desire to follow. We have adopted the truth and law of God to guide our lives by. Since it is in opposition to the desires of the secular world, the foundation of faith has been whittled at to remove it from being an intricate part of our lives. No prayer in schools or at open public or social functions, in other words, a world void of religious beliefs. As Jesus responded to the Jewish leaders, "GIve unto Ceaser what is Ceaser's and unto God what is God's", it is evident that we have lost the meaning of His words. Our society has progressed past the moral responsibility that motivated our founding fathers to seek religious freedom. We choose not to be governed by the true moral teachings that were instituted at our founding. As a Christian, I respect everyone's right to believe the way they choose. But let us not, whether Christian or unbeliever persecute our brothers and sisters for the way they choose to believe. I find a comfort in my faith that no one can or will ever remove. I often think of St Paul and gain great comfort from his words, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, " For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." These words from St Paul resonate in the spiritual connection we desire to have and follow as disciples of Christ. They are evermore important today than any other time in history. God only desires us to look forward and not back. Our hope lies in the life to come and which has been made possible through the very person this world has turned their back on. Our faith in the truth will set us free.🙏💖🕊🕊🕊🕊
