Your lurchers have been brought up on these type of open areas and you put in the time training them correctly ,i only been up north once ferreting ,etc its far far different from our areas ,and plenty of rabbits all over .I do pest control and i tend to keep away from holes ,and my lurcher back from long nets too ,each to there own ,good luck dave

I watched all 3 parts of the training. I couldn't be happier with the success. I'm going to be using your techniques to train my dog which is a Aussie with I think catahula mix. though she is already 11 months old she loves to chase cats in a field behind my house. She water retrieves great and field retrieves great but not much to my hand.😅 so I'm going to fence off a straight away for her to go away and have to come back. And go from there . I'll do my best to train her as if she's 8 weeks old 😅. We shall see how long it takes her to pick up on it. I'm beyond excited.thank you for all your hard work on putting this together. Just a quick question a got a 7month old pup been doing retrieving since 4month old an she will come straight in with dummy but won't hold it drops by my feet but tried tug of war an tried tiring to lead an chase round she will hold it on lead an let me take it a say drop she drops an then throw for her drops short again a tried to put it back in her mouth won't accept it also tried to let her carry it for abit she will happily but a call her in she drop short still owt else a can try be grateful thanks never had a pup do this normally won't let go

I’ve got a saluki-cross-collie and his prey drive and speed is quite incredible. I’ve never seen a dog as fast over a large area. We rescued him from a shelter in the North of England and he will attempt to hunt most things inc. foxes, rabbits etc. He is however so soft, loving and brilliant with other dogs and children. An amazing dog but not for the inexperienced dog owner.

I’ve got a saluki-cross-collie and his prey drive and speed is quite incredible. I’ve never seen a dog as fast over a large area. We rescued him from a shelter in the North of England and he will attempt to hunt most things inc. foxes, rabbits etc. He is however so soft, loving and brilliant with other dogs and children. An amazing dog but not for the inexperienced dog owner.
