I still think the best is to hide the entire small safe behind a wall. No fake anything. Plaster up the hole. If in 3 months you need to get to it, just remove the plaster.

The requirement for an access card is a deal breaker for me. If it had a simple 4 or 5 digit key pad like practically every other "quick access" safe then if would be a good option. But only if it was installed with the butt end of the stock on the ground, the use of the butt plate is not a good idea as it could easily be ripped off the wall with a hard press of a person's foot as their weight alone would rip it off the wall.

My main concern is that it doesn't seam to fit up tight against the wall. Also you could print some screw decals and put them in the white indents. Those people complaining that the vents are not real, well if they were it would look just like this because the vents are pointed down and if you are walking by them you wouldn't be able to see inside if they were real.

You have to use the backup battery pack and then touch the key to the sensor like you normally do. Can be a bit confusing, but this worked for me.

I have been remodeling my home so my Quicksafe shelf has been sitting in a box for over a year now. I went to the IOS App Store and searched for the app. No luck!! Did you ever find out what happened to it?? That feature was a huge selling point:( Thx!

That works for me because when I hop out of bed or the shower and scramble for my piece, I'm definitely going to have the card key handy. Why not use a hidden latch or button like in the movies?

It's not a false bottom if there is a finger slot. Nice product to hide valuables. However, do you guys sell a model that doesn't make the chiming noise or the motor noise? If you're trying to open this in secret so the bad guy doesn't hear you, your toast as soon as you open it because of all the noise.

This would be a good product if it didn't make any noise when opening and if the grills were covered from the inside so you can't see the contents inside. If ur in a life or death situation, you don't want to alert the bad guy with a chime that tells the whole world where you're at.

Ok people can we take 5 seconds to do a minor bit of logical consideration (which the designer of this product CLEARLY didn't do). 1) What is the major characteristic of an air vent cover? It's a plastic/metal grate that allows air to pass through. 2) What is the major characteristic of a safe? A sealed container to keep valuables protected. So before even designing this product you need to decide one of two things. 1)Are you going to make a safe that's hidden to look like a vent but DOESN'T have any actual holes so nobody in their right mind would confuse it for actually being a vent OR 2) Are you going to make a safe that's hidden to look like a vent and DOES have actual holes and therefore offers absolutely no security and you can clearly see all the contents of the container. Neither way makes any sense and as such should have been canned before wasting any time even designing it beyond this point. The fact that you continued to make this product reeks of you wanting to take advantage of paranoid schizophrenics and uneducated low-tier drug dealers who will buy it on an impulse without considering if it makes even a lick of sense.

It’s not so much a safe as it is a hiding place. This can also be mounted up near the ceiling where you need a step ladder to access it for even better security.
