  What cams do you have? When I ordered my fortis I told the shop to get me the EC2 cams and after I got my bow I didn’t even notice they gave me the E2 cams and a month passed by. My draw length is 28” and the E2 cams lowest draw length is 28 1/2”. So I feel like my draw ke is too long. Ugh it’s been a year now and I’m trying to make it work.

  Why not just have them order you the EC2 cams and swap em out? No reason to have to shoot when it’s uncomfortable

  So I could be wrong on this so I chad a. 2219 arrow at 30 in Long. Three feathers at 4 in Long one knock and 100 grain broadhead out of my 1994 XI flatliner which I have not shot that bow in probably 10 years. But I know I was shooting 270 ft. Per second at 72 lb draw weight.

  Both this review and the Hoyt review are off on speeds. The Hoyt in every test I have done is 5-8fps min slower than the Lift at matched specs. Maybe the chrono. My Lift 33 at 28.5/74lbs/450gr arrow is clocking 294 consistently. So something is truly off here. The Lift gives up almost 1/2" in draw length when compared to the previous Mathews models with the same listed draw length mods. The older Switch Weight mods were always 1/2''-5/8" long. These new SWX mods are maybe 1/4" long on some at most from my tests.

  Did you say 28.5 in draw ? That seems really slow, I recently shot my v3x 33 against a lift 29.5 at a pro shop with 470 grain arrow, both bows 28/70 my 33 was 274 and the 29.5 was 270. Was planning to buy one but when it was slower than my 33 which is not known as a fast bow I had to pass. Could have been the timing was off or something either way I was shocked

  @@DeadHeadArchery the whisker biscuit is a speed killer 100% also causes accuracy issues if you don't hold your bow arm perfectly still as you release.

  That's a good target idea. I big target with a realistic picture. Then you can move the picture when the vitals get shot through instead of buying another $500 McKenzie buck. Plus you won't lose arrows if you miss on long range shots.

  What’s your draw length? I’m curious because my arrow setup is about 440 grains and I’m interested in the evolve 33 as well as the unite (which I’ve shot at my local shop and LOVE). Wondering about speed at my 28.5” draw length.

  I've shot a few recurve bows but have never tried a compound bow since I'm a left-handed shooter and everyone I know is right-handed. I'm very interested in getting a compound bow and have looked at brands like Matthews, Hoyt, and PSE. I'm not aiming for the most high-end option, but I do want a good quality bow. I'm 6'5", and some people have mentioned that I'll need a longer axle-to-axle bow. Unfortunately, where I live in California, there aren't any bow shops nearby like the one in this video, except for Bass Pro Shop or ones that are a 4+ hour drive away. Does anyone have any suggestions?
