I'm surprised at how quiet his voice seems to be from this video. In the studio track he sounds like he is operatically belting

I don't always feel the need to see the singer sing, but with Jeff it's almost a must. He puts his entire body and soul into it, and so so so much emotion. Jeff, such a legend. He lost his life, but his legacy will live on forever ❤️

I realized if you practiced to sing this song enough you can almost learn to breath in as you sing just like he does, it's pretty cool lol

Here we go. This shit lights me on fire. Whoever filmed that knew how to capture that crazy ass, opera level performance of a dude catching the fucking spirit in the moment. Love you Jeff, don't miss you because you'd have only gone on to make fucking jingles. But damn if you're beauty was captured perfectly in a tight 3 minutes. Also fucking love for the apparent distain of the microphone at the end.

When you stay up late doing random shit and are about to go to bed thinking what a waste of time this night has been... Then you stumble on a video that has a comment that catches your eye and in that comment a reply links to a video that brings you here... and back decades in time, and to witness the performance of a song that affected your life in such a meaningful way that now I'm writing this, standing in my pitch black dining room, while everyone is sleeping, again stuck in awe from the angel that is Jeff. Thank God for you, dream brother. Thank God. 🙏🏼

There isn't, sadly. This snippet of a studio recording was used in a posthumous documentary called "Jeff Buckley: Grace Around the World." But if I'm speaking frankly, most of his performances of this song (and every song he ever performed) are just as breathtaking.
