    In our latest video, we give another one of our most watched how to and DIY videos a much-needed makeover. This time we rework our Removing can tops video that we last made almost two years ago to answer another of the most frequently asked questions we get asked. Although we don't use this technique in our soda can modeling endeavors, we know that a lot of other can crafters, hobbyists and upcycling enthusiasts do. In the latest version of this video, our AI voice Derek narrates as our can artist shows you two easy DIY methods for taking the tops off of your cans. Although some claim that using the old fashioned can opener is still the best method, it's simply a non option if you're putting cans into customers hands without having to worry about them getting cut. By taking the time and effort to use these proven methods, you'll NEVER have to worry about it. So, sit back, relax and enjoy this latest version. We hope you'll find it just as intuitive as you did the first. Stay tuned for our next video as we return to our soda can modeling roots with the SR-71 Blackbird! Thanks for watching and make sure to hit that subscribe button so you get notified when we release our next amazing video!

    In our latest video, we give one of our most popular soda can how to and DIY hack videos a much-needed makeover. We last did a video on this one well over two years ago after originally making one back in 2018 to answer one of the most frequently asked questions we get - how to easily take the ink off of soda cans. Like many can crafters, we use this technique whenever we want to make something with that bright, shiny silver luster, like our P-51D Mustang, the F-86 Sabre or even the MiG 21. In our latest version, we improve upon our original concept by showing sheets as well as whole cans along with alternatives if you don't have a cooker like the one we use in the video. So, sit back, relax and enjoy this latest version. We hope you'll find it just as intuitive as you did the first. In our latest video, we revisit soda can cars and opt to work on a redesign of our Manta supercar plans based partly on the Manta Montage Coyote X seen in the classic 80’s TV show, Hardcastle & McCormick. After building it the first time it was clear the chassis was in dire need of a redesign, so we did just that and set about building it out of Coke Classic and opting for a clear red finish. And the results don’t disappoint. While it's not perfect, it certainly has all the telltale stylings of the Manta supercars. With some elegant fender curves, some nice 3D printed wheels and a wider wheel base, this build really pops compared to the first time we made it. So, sit back, enjoy and we hope you might try building this one yourself after watching the video! It looks like you don't put any water in that instant pot -- is that accurate? Because don't you need steam in this process?

    Welcome to our latest video! This one was inspired by countless can crafters, modelers and hobby enthusiasts who reached out to us asking if we had any plans available for making a soda can sailing ship. Not wanting to disappoint, we did some searching and we eventually came across some older Spanish Galleon templates freely available on various crafting sites, Pinterest & the Wayback Machine and then reworked them specifically for this model. Once we had successfully built the ship, we just knew we had to share the templates with everyone! So, as thanks for inspiring this latest video, the link to the templates is provided in the description freely available to anyone who wants to give this one a try. Make sure to have a pack of wooden dowels and Bamboo Skewers handy when you start and simply follow AI voice 'Billy's' directions. The hull is a little tricky, but once you get past it, its all smooth sailing! In our latest video, we head back to a Galaxy far, far away and build the iconic BTL Y-Wing Starfighter bomber. We opt to tackle the A4 model as seen during the Galactic Civil War and most notably featured during Star Wars: A new Hope. We build the main superstructure out of generic Seltzer Water cans then add some 3D printed Ion Engines, gun turret, laser cannons and finally an astromech to go along for the ride back for an assault on the soda can Death Star. So sit back, relax and enjoy our video. As always, leave comments, questions or build requests in the comments below. In our latest video, we take another short pause from our usual soda can airplane builds and go back to one of our staple soda can cars; the classic Porsche 917K of Le Mans racing fame. Like many of our other soda can cars, this racing car build is one that we've been doing for several years. And just like the last soda can car video, we give this iconic race winning sports car an upgrade with some 3D printed wheels and some custom decals. We also opt to show off a bit more of the build process and the end result does not disappoint! Do I need a pressure cooker or can I just get them warm on say a 3d printer bed ( heats up to 110

  • @sodacanmodels
    @sodacanmodels3 ай бұрын

    After doing a lot of experimentation, I would say that the heat has to be a tad bit higher than that. Some opt for the pressure cooker but you can also use a conventional oven for about 20 minutes if you bake them at around 400-450 degrees..

    In our latest video, we take a pause from our usual soda can airplane builds and go back to one of our staple soda can cars; the classic 32 Ford 3 Window Coupe. Much like our 5 window coupe, this hot rod build is one that we've been doing for nearly 2 decades. But this time, we give the street rod a couple of upgrades with some 3D printed tires, rims, headlights and a front grille. Our artist opts to add a little more detail by showing more of the build process for this classic car and the end result does not disappoint! We use a pressure cooker and some actually prefer to use an oven. However, we found that for our particular application the pressure cooker works best since we were also able to process far more cans in a shorter time using the pressure cooker method than we were in the oven. We can process nearly double the amount of cans using the pressure cooker method in the same time and that's why we opt for using it instead...

    One of the most common questions we get asked is what was the most insane or craziest build we ever undertook, or what's the biggest soda can airplane we ever made? Well in this short, down and dirty video, we answer all of those questions and you will probably be amazed what comes in at number one. Well, that is unless you think a project that took almost for months to complete and over 1300 cans to build isn't that big of a deal compared to some of the smaller projects you see here on our channel or on other channels.
