This is cool but doesn't explain anything
Excellent demo! Thank you. 😊
All for men with little to swing around....
You should have explained how it works using a free body diagram.
I just got mine in the mail I still do not understand how to use this thing I wish it came with instructions and whatnot lol

Wtf
Americans fixing American problems
Damn
Do you have a demonstration using a gooseneck or fifth wheel?
What does too much tongue weight look like?
that car is engine is at the front so should be facing forward not backwards
Looking to purchase a ball hitch for a 2500 HD to pull a 30 ft travel trailer but also need to pull smaller lawn mower type trailers.......what is best
Does this come pre greased or do i need to grease it upon installation?
Great question! The True Tow comes pre-greased and ready to use. Over time, you'll need to grease certain points as detailed in the Owner's Manual, but it's good to go right out of the box!
How can you be losing tongues weight? All of the weight is still going through the same tow bar into the receiver, it seems like all that is happening is an introduction of stresses into the system. I’d like to see a rigid body diagram drawn out, because I’m sure the forces from the “spring bars” would cancel
Use a pintle and never worry about anything
It’s a Ford, that’s why, duhhhhh 🤦🏻♂️ 😂
Shin muncher 5000
where do we get these trailer models
I still dont get it...does a weight disteibution hitch distributes the tongue weight to both the towing vehicle and back to the trailer? meaning out of for example 1000lbs tongue weight originally i now only have 750lbs tongue weight and 250 go back to trailer? does that mean my vehicle about 20% heavier load? why should i not ever use a weight distribution hitch then?
tongue weight of european trailers is 4% though not 10
Good music
when can i get the weigh safe flap jacks? they look awesome to use.

that shit gonna break no doubt
She handles the balls well
Honestly, you don’t need WD hitches…..
Why?
Depends on your truck to trailer ratio lol
As long as you’re not overloading your trucks capacity, there is no need for them
not impressed with mine

Model car?
Pretty, but does not work. Quit after a couple months and only used 3x. Sent in under warranty for repair. Worked twice after return. Great looking hitch, but would rec that you find another great looking hitch.
So the weight doesn't have to actually be "on" the tongue, as long as most of the weight is shifted toward the front? I'm asking because with a straight tongue trailer, you don't have as many options to mount anything on the tongue whereas with an A frame trailer tongue, you could have a cargo rack or Bike racks etc. which would obviously place the weight on the actual tongue as opposed to having the weight in the bed of the trailer in the front.
Should have bought a Chevy 🤣
I own one to barely used the quality is poor to much play on it
We're sorry to hear about your experience. Please fill out a warranty claim form on our website, and our team will help resolve this for you. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
While these demos are mainly for entertainment purposes and they they are flawed. The vehicle towing the trailer is is secured to the bar. This then creates a double trailer towing setup. The wheels of the tow vehicle are in "drag" mode and not in "Power" mode, clearly the forces acting on the vehicle and the trailer trailer will be vastly different. Yes weight position plays a crucial roll in all trailer towing situations, IMHO :)
Neither I’ll take an Anderson for $130 instead of this for $300 probably
This is for those who don't know what they're hauling?
Nah the weight safe has a scale so you know how much tongue weight you have. Too much or too little can be dangerous
could you please explain the differences between those two compared to the traditional one? thanks 🙏
Neither, probably too expensive
Sorry if this is a dumb statement but I just don't understand how they work. I understand they are like handles to a wheel barrow and the higher you lift the weight gets distributed but, I don't know..... It seems like you are trying to pick yourself up while you are standing in a bucket.
This would be a lot better with a very basic model of how this works -- reduce it down to basics like those old 1940s videos with sicks and weights and demonstrate how changing the lever arm is actually changing things or whatever.
Больше похоже на игрушку моей бывшей😂😂😂
isn't the point of the position of the wheel of the trailer is to balance the load? if you put the load at the front, maybe all trailers should be manufactured with the wheels at the rear instead of the middle of the bed.
No one would back in that , put the weight up front aka the motor 😑 get real here now
True, unless it's a rear engine vehicle. (Which admittedly are not common)
Why only a single axle?
Ease of loading if you know how to use it otherwise they're cheaper and easier to maintain because there's only one set of wheels
Where can I get that Ram truck..?
We recommend checking out Walmart or Amazon!
Loved my weigh-safe but now it has way too much play on ball and adjustment area after 2 1/2 Years of RVing. My Rv weighs 7,300# loaded and 670 tongue weight.
We are glad to hear you've loved your Weigh Safe Hitch! We recommend contacting our Support Team at 801-820-7020 regarding the excess play so we can look into this for you and see what might be going on. 👍
@weighsafe @weighsafe 1000% not happy with customer service and the play I have in my hitch and the noise it makes while pulling. I will be making a video showing this to potential customers to look out for if you tow alot. I will be replacing my hitch asap with another company. I don't ever overload or pull anything over 8000# and stay under 900# tongue weight when pulling my car hauler. This type of play is not ok with me and upsetting and I do not feel comfortable using this hitch with the play I have in ball. Videos will be posted on all my social media accounts.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced. We take the quality and performance of our products seriously and strive to ensure customer satisfaction. @@joewaffle5666 if at all.
One grain of sand and you’re beating that thing out of anger. Beautiful hitch tho
Oh good more bullshit you guys leave on all the time for people to hurt their shin on.
I just take mine off when it's not in use
