    There are no longer new "Hybrid" FRS/GMRS radios. If you're buying a new radio, you will buy either a "FRS" radio or a "GMRS" Radio. Also, FRS and GMRS radios share all 22 "Channels" GMRS radios are allowed to use repeaters which are channels 15-22 but with a duplex input frequency for the repeater. an FRS radio can listen to and talk to anyone on channels 15-22 but can not activate a repeater. § 95.1761 GMRS transmitter certification. (d) Effective December 27, 2017, the Commission will no longer issue a grant of equipment authorization for hand-held portable unit transmitter types under both this subpart (GMRS) and subpart B of this part (FRS). (e) Effective December 27, 2017, the Commission will no longer issue a grant of equipment authorization under this subpart (GMRS) for hand-held portable units if such units meet the requirements to be certified under subpart B of this part (FRS).

    A few comments, first of all the coverage of the warranty and the refresh program is fantastic. But there is a few negatives in this video, the object avoidance is not included in the Mini 3 and only the Mini 3 Pro. Yes, it does have land sensors, but not object avoidance. This is a very manual drone, which is great for learning. Did you film the the highlights in the video, if so they are fantastic and great work. I'm going to start uploading my drone coverage. Overall very informative.

    Zach, I was watching the playback of when we did the T-33 site on Bunce School Road. You hit a huge branch earlier on in the trail. I’ll try and find the time stamp on my video and you can see where the branch flips up and hits your front drive shaft. I just went back and watch the video. It’s right around the 9:10 mark in my video. It was literally, just as we started the trail.

    I have been trying to find a video that would cover differences between the tensix without the screen and the one with the screen. I’m trying to justify if the “automatic shut off” is worth the extra $100+

  • @explorationoverland
    @explorationoverland19 күн бұрын

    So I have seen both at the same time. One of the guys I wheeled with has the auto shut off. They work the same, but the one will shut off automatically once it hits the tire pressure you set in all four. I'll simply put it if you don't want to watch the pressure as it fills get the automatic shut off. If you don't mind checking it occasionally as it fills, save the $100 and get the normal one. If you get the gauge that hooks to the hoses, it makes checking the pressure simple.

    In this video, I was on a trail called Stoney Pass, west of Colorado Springs. At the time, I was confused to, until I figured it out. There are a whole system of trails just west of Colorado Springs. Some of the trails have similar names to the big ones in the state. But that was where I was at.

    I too own the 3 pro and have to say the biggest complaint I have to say about is the lack of smart features beyond quick shots & master shots. They can be useful but it was quite ignorant of dji to not include the automated features on a pro model like this, essentially throwing the bird to all of us who bought it not knowing so much that the 4 pro was coming like right behind it after a year. What are you afraid of letting the 3 pro customers have what we paid for dji? Quite the blank move wasn't it? Asking for a friend. I dont even want to get started on the RC compatibility between the 3 & 4 pro thats another blank move my friend said, along with holding back low light capabilities & a small upgrade in clairity & quality via firmware. Again those blank moves dji, geeze my friends pretty disgusted. I just deal with it myself lol. Great video. Sorry dji deserved that feedback in our opinions ☺️.

    I've been using Onx Backcountry a lot recently. I didn't like it at first, it was confusing, seemed clunky and lacking, HOWEVER, I then went out into the backcountry with it and everything that didn't make much sense to me fell together. Now it is my premier backcountry app. I do have the Elite version though, which is $99.99 a year plus some tax. I don't know if that is why I see it as so good. It is absolutely superior to 2 other apps I've been using. Gaia is not one of them though, but Alltrails is.

    Why does your jeep whistle???

  • @explorationoverland
    @explorationoverland2 ай бұрын

    The whistling noise is mostly from the turbo when the engine is reveing from tackoff after the camera is set up. Or the steering if it's a shot going over rocks, and I am really close to the Jeep while filming. There's nothing wrong with the Jeep. All the 2.0l turbos I've come across make that whistling noise haha

    In New Mexico. I've only explored in the southern region. Saddle Rock Canyon is a good one. Their are a lot of trails that all interconnect and can get you deep into the forest. Be cautious, though. Many trails may say a full size 4x4 can fit, and really, it's designed for side by side.

    A hard case could solve your dirty compressor problem and the flimsy storage bag problem. I have the EZ Flate compressor which looks like a twin of this. Same factory? Harbor Freight hard cases (Apache) are a good replacement when that bag falls apart. Fits perfectly without hose set and not pelican $. My first ever YT video was on the case issue.
