    For this video I downloaded the iPhone from cgtrader and I made the case in Rhino. I suggest Rhino is best but can be hard to learn, Google Sketchup is slightly easier

    @shayklaassen hello from London UK. Any updates on this? (or Autodesk/Graphisoft). I am seriously concerned about my professional future as well thinking of what advice will be giving to my students at the University.

  • @shayklaassen
    @shayklaassenАй бұрын

    Hello, no major updates at the moment - I believe they're still keeping this privatised as it is more profitable that way. Also while the video is rather nihilistic, it will be awhile before anything like this is usefully implemented. I'll do another video soon going into more detail and a more reasonable look at what we can do. In terms of Graphisoft, their AI add-on is more of a marketing gimmick at the moment.

    Midjourney seems to indicate that adding -style raw forces it to use midjourney V5 instead of V6? Is this suffix still necessary anymore?

    Ryno and SketchUp pretty much same, even the file can integrate .CAD format...the only my skills issue to modeling cars... headache create stress and almost vomit and brain cancer but really fun.... something about SketchUp staff they face problem like me...so they try to found solution how to integrate or robbery Houdini effect into SketchUp with plug-in and toolbars look like it been programming in North Korea.... SketchUp pretty much underatted software or what we call for sleeper brian...many already get retirement skim after try put complex setting in SketchUp except Fredo, Harry Potter, Salem and Sabrina .... -:my suggestion for new programer name Hu Toa or Kagura...cause both is shaman or magician name.

    Does the OBJ format preserve the UVW map of Rhino files upon export? (It's unclear whether specific UV mapping is set for Rhino meshes like walls and windows in your workflow before importing into UE5.) Tnx

  • @shayklaassen
    @shayklaassen2 ай бұрын

    I believe it does preserve it for OBJ, however I prefer to use datasmith when exporting from Rhino which also preserves UVW mapping (I don't use OBJ anymore as from memory it can have issues with not being able to find the materials and link them)

    How long until we can use it to give us feasible floor plan variations or use Photoshop or basic 3D and have this render consistently in real time?

  • @Bleepurchin

    Doesn’t adding so many render styles to the prompt mean it’s not going to make a style that looks like any of them? Surely it just going to make a blend of all those styles? Not desirable…right?

    The first shot, it’s a still A.I creation why the prompt using a cinema camera and lens? Does MidJourney not respond to still camera prompts as well?

  • @ardwg_
    @ardwg_3 ай бұрын

    I think the whole idea of using a cinema camera and the lens, is to give the idea of how the picture we want to look to be. The camera and the lens alone sometimes have their characteristic. _If I'm not mistaken_

    Damn I'm so glad I just found your channel, I've been working on and off in Blender doing mainly amateur Archviz, but since I've started studying architecture in September they've right now started to instruct us to use Rhino for modelling and Twinmotion for rendering. It's been feeling like I know just enough from every software to figure something out, but I was scared Unreal Engine was gonna be a step too far. From what I can tell from this tutorial, it's quite perfect for me to have in my learning procedure. After I've mastered Rhino and Twinmotion with more projects, I will definitely start looking into Unreal Engine, especially with your videos!

    If you are scared because of this, as a junior architect, I suggest you change your degree as you have no clue what architecture is about. Videos like this and most of the people on the internet are the problem, not the tools. Unfortunately, human stupidity is driving the doom and gloom. It's so tiring to read so many stupid opinions online all the time. Why do people waste their time doing this? This is almost a crime: the number of wasted time people throw away to make crappy KZread opinion pieces.

  • @mikedsjr
    @mikedsjr3 ай бұрын

    Sure. If you’re a pathetic architect and the building owner likes generic crap with no soul. Who cares. I’ve seen for many years people trying to frighten people with this crap. I seen companies have software 😢hey say will remove architects before and it hasn’t yet.

  • @smittylynch
    @smittylynch3 ай бұрын

    I really wish people would stop loosing their sh#t over AI and thinking it will replace everyone and everything! As an architect, I would welcome this assuming it matures into something practical. The fact is a HUMAN would still have to review and assume liability for something created by this TOOL - because that is what this is. I welcome this because I would personally much rather spend my time refining a design than focusing on the minutiae of construction documentation.
