  the stairs where laid from 2016 and opened to the public in 2019. So no historical value as of yet. They're ment as a tourist atraction and do well with that. I'd be more worried about meeting other hikers at that speed...

  To me, the expedition that Mike and Børge did to the North Pole and beyond is the greatest one of our times. l read the National Geographic chronicle of the expedition, which is truly worth reading if you are into this topic. In times where ego and self-promotion drive some people, it's so refreshing to take a look back and learning from genuine explorers. Of course, you can also find nowadays great and honest explorers, like Vincent Colliard 💪😊My heart broke when he had to postpone his North Pole attempt (because of the Russia-Ukraine war). l wanted to see him succeeding so much! Thanks for the video (l'll be getting an "Arktis Expedition Facemask" for my next 'humble' winter adventure 😅😻).
