Shouldn't this preemption notice for CBS's original _Magnum, P.I._ say the night 🌚 of March 4, 1987, instead of March 5, 1986?
Is there one for The Price is Right, Capitol, and Guiding Light?
Stay tuned for The Guliding Light next on most of these CBS stations
@@charlesallan-ks6gq That's spelled _Guiding_ (but not _Guilding,_ just _Guiding_)_ _Light 💡,_ but close enough. LOL 😆!
Special reports lack destrucity!
Delightful...thank you for this!

That early almost primitive NBC Color identifier was voiced by nine other tha veteran NBC News broadcaster BEN GRAUER , who did the Times Square ball drops on the Tonite Show with Johnny Carson in the 60’s.
That's spelled the late ⏰ Johnny Olson (née John Leonard Olson) under the description of this video 📼, not Olsen, but close enough. And furthermore, I think 🤔 it's the end of the March 28, 1985, episode of _The Price Is Right ▶️._ LOL 😆!
Thanks 😊 for fixing 🔧 this error ⚠️, I really appreciate it.
Great to see this back on youtube!
The announcer doing this was the late Dave Campbell.
Are you sure 👍🏻?
@@jamesmcclelland1414 I'm 100% sure. I recognized his voice.
@@mikesmemoriesfromthepast89 May I ask we he died 💀?
@@jamesmcclelland1414 I don't want to talk about that. He died a long time ago.
@@mikesmemoriesfromthepast89 Sorry 💔, my bad.
The late Don Robertson made an announcement for the CBS Sports broadcast.
Great find!

Congratulations 🎉🎆, Stephen.
The good old days.
A little over a year later, Mel Blanc was gone:(
Capitol aired at 2:30PM EST after ATWT. ATWT moved to 2PM on 3/23/1987 when the Bold and the Beautiful bowed.
You've got it, Zach.
They were preempted in 1983 but aired in 1985, and TPIR aired a new episode that year. TPIR showed a rerun on Black Friday 1983, don't remember if TPIR was preempted in 1984 or not. So this is probably 1984.
The morning 🌞 of November 23 (Black Friday), 1984, to be exact, Zach.
Fun fact: East Coast viewers never saw the November 22, 1983 episodes for both $25K Pyramid and PYL due to JFK anniversary coverage at the Holy Trinity Church in Washington, D.C.
@@VahanNisanian Oh really? No 👎🏻 kidding. And furthermore, it's spelled East Coast, not Cost, but close enough. LOL 😆!
@@VahanNisanian PYL probably aired on USA. By the time USA got to the 1983-84 season of Pyramid in early 1992, I believe they skipped over the weeks that didn't have five episodes..
The Didi COnn and RIchard Gilliand Pyramid week from 11/21-11/23 never aired since the original CBS broadcast.
I assume this is from the day after Thanksgiving in 1984 that CBS aired Huckleberry Finn movie then the Price Is Right at 11am. If Price was preempted he would have mentioned it as well.
November 23 (Black Friday), 1984, to be exact.
Correct. This was a rebroadcast of the animated Famous Classic Tales of Huckleberry Finn, sponsored by Kenner.
@@ThePastRediscoveredArchives👍🏻
@@ThePastRediscoveredArchives I thought it was an original broadcast? I googled, and it said it originally aired in the US on Black Friday 1984.
What could be airing from 12:30 to 2:30 in 1984?
This was on a Friday following Thanksgiving Day. CBS used to air non-sports specials on those mornings.
@@ThePastRediscoveredArchives November 23 (Black Friday), 1984, to be exact.

In reply to some of the comments: Yes, the show employed cue cards, but much ad libbing would also go on at times between Keeshan and the other actors, depending on the story. Bob Keeshan never wanted children on the set. His goal was to have the children at home believe that they were the ones with whom he was having a personal visit. Having said that, my brothers and I visited the set many times as young children in the 1960's (but only occasionally during actual tapings, for the above reason,) as our dad was the set decorator for many years, including this episode towards the very end of the run, which was taped at the CBS Broadcast Center on 57th St. in Manhattan in late 1983. The show never migrated to California because all of the talent - actors, producers, directors, and the many skilled television artisans that magically made it all happen - lived here in the New York area.
Great insight! Thanks very much for sharing.
A "ranDu"m thawt 🤔... it's crazy how Milton was look'n like Herman Munster when he laughs 😆 🤣 😂
I am hoping that entire episodes of Better Days gets uploaded and posted. I would love to see an episode of that show.
So glad to find this, how wonderful
You were literally brought to joyful tears by the ultimate talent demonstrated by these two angels of pure music. Dismiss philosophers, psychologists and wannabe scientists... this is absolute proof that God exists. Pure art Pure beauty Pure human expression
And...they were divinely blessed when they first met.

Like all masters of their craft, they made the difficult look easy--but...try to sing anything like Eydie...just try...❤❤
Absolutely love Steve & Eydie. They're a dynamo and rest assured they're entertaining all of our loved ones who have passed on in heaven. Whether in the physical or spiritual world their music and talent will live on forever in our hearts.
You are right @BrunetteOnTheCouch Eydie Gorme was a phenomenal singer! Her career was already taking off before she met Steve. She adored her husband and never tried to outshine him, but she could kick anyone's butt in the singing department if she wanted to. Check any of the videos on KZread where she was a solo guest singer. She brought the house down! Steve himself always said that she was the better singer of the two of them. Steve had a truly beautiful voice, and when his hits stopped coming Eydie's career remained stellar. She was huge in Latin America. Growing up bilingual her Spanish was perfect and they loved her. I saw Steve & Eydie in person many times and they were wonderful people, both really good looking in person. I heard Eydie sing in person when she was close to 70 years old. Her voice was still stunning, so powerful! Most famous singers can no longer sing well when they are that age. There will never be anyone like her ever again and she is greatly missed!!!
Legend of Sleepy Hallow is still the best of all the Disney films.
I’ve watched this countless times and I cannot find the rest of the video. Can anyone help me find the whole video?
Omg im gonna watch this one
Me too. Crazy to think this was her last big screen appearance
@@chainsawteddybear i know i miss her
It's J. Edgar Hoover and Bob Hope in drag.
I would've made only one change had it gone on for at least a few more seasons (but Keeshan wouldn't have like it), tape it "From Television City in Hollywood" and introduce actual children onto the set.

Everyone remembers “the agony of defeat”. But one of my earliest memories was the barbell guy.
I saw this presented on PBS the very 1st time and had to wait 49 years to finally see it again!!! Thank you. There will never be another Ethel Merman!!!
You're very welcome!
I remembered that some of these movies are on Disney plus.
Thank you! One of my favorites!
