  It depends on the treatment and hospital actually... In my case, Without insurance, it costs around 45000$.. I paid around 10% of that which would be 4,500$... Employer pays nothing... All my packet money only... 1 dollar is equivalent to more than 83 rupees now, you can calculate

  Please do not come to America. India is much much better anyday. One coffee costs here Rs. 500.00. If you do not get $4000.00 a month after taxes (almost 35-45% deducted towards taxes, Social Security, Medicare, state taxes, health Insurance ). Monthly rent $1500.00, electricity $ 125.00, Internet $ 70.00, phone bill $ 180.00, gas (for cooking, water heating and house heating) $120.00 (monthly charges + 2 instruments cost) car costs $ 1000.00 (insurance, installment, petrol). These are minimum expenditure. Food expenses are extra. Please do not come to USA, India is anyday better.

  I got US Visa H1B during 2011 but predicted that is not fit for me i had not taken a decision to move to US, rather got an opportunity to work at Singapore and worked there as well for two years, but turned the lift for me as donkey... and now got settled at chennai itself... now planning to get retire earlier by 12 years prior.. with some small quantity of money and of course education is with me... let's see....

  Cost of living , location, education, job ,salary are calculated for family and individual for monthly expenses. Saving p.m for 12 months * FE rate -- Indian value. Comfort zone for indidual/ family survival .
