I really like the rambler I used to own a 1967 rambler American it was a 6cyl 3spd on the tree . I want to fix it up and put a Ford 302 in it but because I was a single parent and thing got tight financially I had to sell it. I like the old cars like that cause you don't see many they were the kind of cars people drove till they dropped then they junked them. They weren't appreciate like old ford's or Chevys & molars were.

Be neat if American Motors comes back making electric cars using as much hemp in the structure as possible . kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZnZk07yIdpy_g5M.html My favorite is the 1962 440. An electric version on that car would be a hoot!

Very nice Rambler hardtop. My first car was a 1966 American station wagon, Antigua Red, base 220 model with the 199 Six and Flash-o-Matic. Not a muscle car, but it had incredible torque off the line. I miss that car, love AMCs. They were years ahead of their time in safety and design...

I learned to drive in my mom's baby blue 66 American 2door 440 model. Had the 2v 232 online 6. Agree they had good torque off the line. Mom car would leave quite a few feet of rubber from the driven tire.
