When doing this do I need to remove the oil cap? I’ve seen some do and some don’t.
Thanks for the great vid! ...so how does the boost leak cause turbo failure? Mine has a good sized leak, but end and lateral play seems good? Thank you!
I just installed your turbo on my truck last week. The original one I believe was just worn out, almost 250k miles. The old turbo compressor wheel didn't always spin free. It would get to random spots where the wheel would get tight and not want to turn. I want to pull the old one apart just because I'm curious of what was failing. What should I look for inside it?
jUST DID MINE TODAY!
It will sound like that with 64mm turbo and straight pipe? And rest stock?
🤗
Clean
I’d like to know if/where you can buy those connectors. Also if you can get pin outs for the pcm, tcm, bcm, etc. Thanks!
Yeah to bad the shop that has my truck said it would be done the same day. Theyre using a v2 doing 5 efi live tunes with a dsp5 ona 03 lb7 and its taking them forever
I need one of these in my life
Any recommendations for an exhaust system for a 15' Chevy Silverado 1500, 5.3 L, 4x4???

Here's a link to that unit with cost ryansdieselservice.com/11-16-rds-64mm-turbo/
What else would need to be done to the truck from stock? Exhaust? Injectors? Tune? Or will it be fine just bolt on? Please reply looking to get one!
Depends on what size you want. But to get the best performance out of the turbo tuning will be a large factor in that
I'm not really sure about everyone's opinion on this. My opinion on the other hand is, if you want to upgrade the turbo theres some things I think should be done at the least. Head studs, a lift pump (brand of your choice some are better than others, I prefer fass) all high flow piping i.e: charge pipes with y bridge, up pipes, downpipe, intake and headers. The next issue is even though your motor is ready to handle the extra psi inside the cylinder, can your transmission now hold all the power? Probably not for long, so down the rabbit hole of money we go lol.
I got a question so the 64mm super core sound the same as a lb7 cheetah ?
Hey man
How big of a performance gap is there from the 64mm to 68mm??
110% getting this 🤙
how similar does the 68mm sound and does it spool a lot slower or minimal?
64 & 68 sound very close to almost exactly the same. Spool up and drive-ability isn't bad when properly tuned.
@@ryansdieselservice will a 64 kill gaskets on lb7 with stock studs if drove right or wouldn’t recommend it ?
Cool. Is there a drop-in upgraded turbo for a stock trans and stock tune? Daily driver work truck and tow vehicle for 26’ enclosed race car trailer and gear 12k in mountains.
ryansdieselservice.com/04-5-10-rds-64mm-turbo/ this unit right here would would perfect for what you are doing.
Does tuner need the truck put back to stock?
Is there a video from outside the truck
No smoke either! That's amazing
That’s what happens when it’s tuned right
What kind of tunes are these?
Would love to see a more in depth video on this turbo
Hey Ryan, love the tune! Truck runs great!!! Keep up the good work.
is that harness from efi connections?
Yes
