  Hi Lauren I am new to your channel and I quickly noticed your voice is in part similar to that of Linda Ronstadt. What is funny is that song is very similar to "I Can't Help It If I'm Still In Love With You" which Linda Ronstadt covered. Once I figured it out which song it was similar too I checked and it seems “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels” was released one year after "I Can't Help It If I'm Still In Love With You" (1951, 1952) that is why melody is almost the same. Anyhow I would love to hear you cover one of Linda Ronstadt song !!

  Very nice Lauren. Fine tribute and so beautifully sung. Your voice is still sounding so strong and pure. Have to admit I miss the mondays lol. Your Papaw and Nana did such a wonderful job raising you while still letting you become what was inside you to be. Y'all should be very proud. Congrats to him (sorry don't know his name), that can be a really tough job. Please give your Nana a big hug from a stranger lol, and aww heck I'm feeling generous, take one for yourself too.   Wonderful vocals, on pitch, great vibrato, nice vocal breaks, and solid guitar work. This is as good as Suzy's version ... and a bit reminiscent of Judy Collins' too! Keep on singin'!
