It's good to see you continuing. There's certainly a LONG way to go. You're following the waypoints to complete mission objectives. 👍 Try to remember to go for critical shots. White numbers are body shots, yellow numbers are crits and each shot does FAR more damage. For most of the enemies at this point the crit spot is the head. Go for head shots and they'll die LOTS faster. Later when you meet the Vex, it'll be the white crystal in their belly. Servitors, (the big purple ball that shields it's allies) crit is the eye in the center. Try to get the Servitors first if you can so they can't protect the others. LOL, when my son and I started playing Destiny 1 in 2014, we spent like five minutes trying to find the crit on Shanks. Was it the red/yellow face? The Mickey Mouse ears? Nope, we FINALLY realized they just don't have one. 😖We were new once too. Looking forward to your next Destiny video. Take care SOG.

if you bring up your ghost it will put the current quest marker on screen, also your radar in the top left will have an arrow in the direction of the quest marker.

So it seems when you created your character and closed the game it gave you all the starting weapons, your secondary was a shotgun so close quarters, theres 3 ammo types white ammo which use to be known as primary ammo is infinite, green ammo is special ammo this is slightly rare ammo for powerful weapons, and purple ammo is rare its for your heavy weapon or your lmg.

Just a couple of tips, pay attention to your radar in the top left. The waypoint on it (the white triangular arrow on the outside) was showing you were to go to find Shaw Han. It will almost always point you in the right direction. About that spider tank: each of the six legs is a crit spot. Do enough damage to a leg and you will blow off the leg's armor. The tank will collapse and stick it's neck out exposing the BIG damage crit spot. Hammering away at the tanks armored skin with ANY weapon is useless. This won't be the last time you'll encounter one of those tanks.

@@SOGThrillz Just another tip that's related to this, you will see two colour of damage numbers (there are others but you don't really need to worry about them as much as a New Light). White means regular damage, yellow means you are hitting a crit spot for additional damage. For 99% of enemies that spot is almost always the head, there are a few that have others. Servitors (the floating orbs) it is the center eye, Vex (the robots) it is the white tank in the chest, headshots should be avoided when low level as this will enrage them and make them rush you, there is one Vex that shooting for the head "can" help is a type called a Hobgoblin (their snipers) because they will enter a state where they will regain their health, removing the head prevents this but they will run at you as a result. For Cabal with shields you should shoot the orange diamond to stagger them and make them drop their shields down so you can hit them in the head or just at all, this helps a lot when they extend their shield to protect other enemies behind them. If you have any questions feel free to ask, for us veterans we have a creed "Protect the New Light's" and if you are ever called a "Blueberry" it's not an insult it's how we also refer to New Light's due to your blue armour.

I've been playing Destiny since 2014. I've NEVER seen anyone begin the game with three weapons. You're supposed to start with just you d*ck in your hand. Your ghost should have directed you to a chest in the darkness with the Khvostov auto rifle in it. Then, that first loot cash should have had a shotgun. Your first heavy weapon (machine gun in your case) should have come much later. Welcome to the game, hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Mine started all the weapons pre-loaded. Dis started with bare hands but the options to switch to weapons popped all the weapons active, and did not visit any chest. Thanks for the info

I've been playing since 2013 in the Alpha D1 build of the game and rams is right. This game requires a lot of knowledge and understanding to really sink into it. Also i would say if you do end up doing the New Light quests you can ignore everything it teaches you pretty much. Also you can skip it and get into the real game.

Definitely could have been a badass ally to Earthrealm. Now he is, but he's slowly dying and it's kinda sad to him his life go the way it has. Baraka is still my favorite character
