Welcome to The Upper Room

Welcome to The Upper Room

Think your life is meaningless? Think again.. Do you ever feel like an average person? Do you live a pretty ordinary life? Do you sometimes feel like what you do on a daily basis is somewhat meaningless? Perfect, because God loves ordinary people, people who don't see themselves capable of accomplishing remarkable tasks. Throughout history, from the stories in the Bible to the lives of the saints, we see God choosing seemingly insignificant people to do incredible tasks for him. This book gives you a step-by-step guide to reconnecting with God and building a relationship with him, so you can ask him to reveal your spiritual gifts, find your mission, and learn why you were created. Ultimately, only the one who created you for that purpose can reveal it to you. So, get ready to be challenged and to make your faith complete by your works (James 2:22 RSV Catholic Edition) -and turn ordinary into extraordinary.

    The complete rosary consists of 15 decades. There is no such thing as the "luminous mysteries" The "luminous mysteries" are freemasonry and diabolical. The Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima said to.meditate for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the rosary. That is 1 minute for each of the 15 decades of the JOYFUL. SORROWFUL and GLORIOUS mysteries. DO NOT PRAY THE SO CALLED"LUMINOUS MYSTERIES".

    The Pope inviting transvestites, homosexuals or anyone else to the Vatican is great. It always has been. His style is to do this more often, more openly, and to.encourage all Catholics to do so; good for him. But that has nothing to do with changing the Church to where it now blesses homosexual couples. Nor does it have anything to do with the confusion and disagreement that Fiducia Supplicans' new teachings have created.

    The Catholic Church has changed its teachinng. Yesterday the Church did not bless couples of the same sex, today it does. This change came about by changing the definition (understanding) of the words "blessing" and "couple". Why do you seem to have a problem with that? Yesterday, when asked does the Catholic Church bless gay couples, the answer was honestly "no"; today, the answer is honestly "yes". That is a change of note. And understandably it brings up disagreement as to the wisdom of such a change.

    So right. Bible Alone is a false theology because the Church was not founded on a Bible. Faith Alone is a false theology because the bible directly says it isn't, plus Faith is dependent on the believer (as non-catholics define it); thus they are saying your salvation is based on what the individual does or believes and not Jesus. Unfortunately no matter how logical and reasonable and how true what you say which debunks the protestant man-made religions; they can only return to the True Faith when God plants again the gift of Faith which keeps us Catholic. You hear it time and time again when protestants convert to the Catholic Faith how they had ears but could not hear, eyes but could not see; then when God gave them the Faith to see things from the Catholic Perspective it suddenly became so clear and made so much sense and they couldn't believe how they couldn't see it before. Apologetics merely lays the groundwork as no one comes to Jesus unless the Father draw them.

    I will never be part of a Church that is not planted upon the rock, that Christ spoke of. All of Scripture points to Christ, and the rock upon which He built His church is this, that He is the Son of the Living God. You have also discovered that we are human. Your faith will falter as evidenced by "Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief!" No Protestant asserts that it is his own faith that saves him. It is the faith that Christ is Lord and that Christ is risen from the dead that saves. You confuse measure with substance.

    @@loyalsoles1602 "..No Protestant asserts that it is his own faith that saves him..." REALLY!!!! Let's test this theory of yours. Can a 4 day old infant be saved in your sect if it is baptized? Your answer will reveal your true belief.

    @@39knights King David states when his first son by Bathsheba died "I will go to him. But he shall not return to me." Thus, David believed he would meet HIs son again. David, the apple of His eye, is certainly with the LORD. So I believe his son, and for that matter, all infants who die, are therefore with the LORD.

  • @39knights
    @39knights8 ай бұрын

    @@loyalsoles1602 I guess I am having trouble following your logic, or your definition of 'faith'. In your first reply you said "No Protestant asserts that it is his own faith that saves him" which I highly doubt and have seen many protestants say the opposite. That is why Baptists do not have infant baptism because an infant cannot intellectually form faith of any kind. Then in your next sentance you say " It is the faith that Christ is Lord and that Christ is risen from the dead that saves." So does the person have to actually give an assent of the will to this belief or do they not??? An infant couldn't in any way give an assent to this sort of knowledge. That is why I tried to parse out your theology with the question on infant baptism. However your response was just as unclear. The Catholic position is much more clear in saying we are saved by Grace Alone (which is biblical unlike faith alone which is not). There is absolutely no requirement on the individual to receive salvation; which is why Catholics baptize infants. Not really sure how you are able to square infant salvation with your ideas on faith and its relation to salvation. Best I have seen is non-catholics denying Original Sin and thus saying infants are sinless until they are intellectual aged enough to commit a personal sin.

  • @loyalsoles1602
    @loyalsoles16028 ай бұрын

    @39knights You asked a question on if when an infant dies it goes to heaven... the answer, I believe is yes, because David believed so. To answer your other questions: Faith, by its definition is the hope for that which is not yet seen. The steadfastness of my faith waivers as it has in every single man except Christ; therefore it cannot be the effort I exert into keeping my faith (it can't be my faith) that preserves me. Only the Holy Spirit can keep that in me. At the same time, while it is not my own effort to keep the faith that redeems me, it is faith in the specific promise of Christ that saves. Ephesians 2:8-9 makes this extremely clear. "For by grace you are saved through faith. It (faith) is not of your own doing. It is the gift of God. Not by works, lest any man should boast." I only keep my faith because of grace. It is not of my own doing. Every Protestant faction aside from the weird... lesbian pastor wives ones... believes that. Your next question, does anyone need to give their verbal assent of faith? No, because there will be people who were mute on earth who died in faith. Those too shall be with Christ in Paradise. As you know, an infant can't speak or give assent to or comprehend the faith. Nonetheless, all we know from Scripture is that David firmly believed he would go to his son, and David is surely with our LORD. Ephesians 2 says you are saved through faith, and the next verse after Ephesians 2:8-9 (as well as the book of James) shows that any true and saving faith is made manifest in a walking in the good works that God has prepared for us before the beginning of the world. Through Scripture alone do we know that we are saved through Christ alone by His grace alone, evidenced in His saving us through faith alone in His promise, and He does all this for the glory of God alone. I rejoice in my redeemer that it is not my effort that saves, but that it was His gift and His payment on the cross that saves. And His victory over death in the resurrection proves all the more that He is God, equal to the Father. For this, I give thanks this year, and every year.

    I pray that you find your way out of the lies that the catholic church has put in your head. You are more lost now than you were before converting. I pray that God chooses you out of that death sentence. To believe that there's a place where you have to work off your sin is a complete disgrace to the work Jesus did on the cross. You're saying that what he did wasn't good enough to wash away your sins. You're blind if you don't see that.

    I really don’t know how you can say a Rosary while driving. I got so deep in a mystery once that I didn’t realize the car in front of me had stopped and I had to hit the brakes! Thank God it was highway driving and I left plenty of space from the car in front of me or I would have rammed him. Ever since then I will never say a Rosary while driving. Just too risky. The whole point of the Rosary is too meditate on the mysteries if you are just rambling with no meditation then it just isn’t all that efficacious.

    The movie was published on KZread on the 9th I think. I am in the UK and can't find it. But some ppl posted about the f* bombs. I watched Shia talk about himself in retrospect. He studied the lifestyle and mass and Latin, but not studied Pio enough to question anything. I would say the movie is a portrait of "if messed up Shia was Pio". The director did an awful job. Everything revolved around violence from the clips I saw. Guns, shouting, swearing... Will probably never get round to watching it. In the Shia talk/documentary they coupled him with Pio as two ppl fighting their demons. Pio did not have demons, he saw demons aka reptilian race living among us. The galactic war brought them here. Destroyed a watery planet in our solar system, took over Venus, Mars, Earth and Saturn moons. Why is Pio still here? Because the human species (Lyrians or Karistus/Christ) is still used as slaves, food and entertainment. Earth has been a human farm for 12000 years now. The Archangels are back. Pio is one of them. Galactic history in a tiny nutshell for you. The movie is nonsense.

    6:07 St Francis of Assisi = St Padre Pio = me. The stigmata is caused by the soul entry and stay into the body. The older the soul, the more the experience, the larger the sun ball, the harder it is to embody in hell (3rd Density = here, now) because the low realm human body is not able to sustain the level of electricity surging through the nervous system. But one does get to think faster, do things faster, fly, walk through walls due to higher frequency body. Faster toroid.

    first of all... you are quoting from some goofy bible version... get a King James Bible, it is the pure word of God in the English language. next... you are quoting from Luke 10... in that conversation.. you will notice verse 29: 29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? this is said because no man is justified by the works of the Law.. Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Luke 10 does not hint at any idea that you can lose your salvation... if that were so, Jesus Christ died in vain. you are well intentioned, I'm sure... but you are unwittingly claiming that what Jesus did was not enough. you're on the wrong side of the fence, my friend. Mark 15:31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save. they too, were on the wrong side of the fence.

    Why do we grow old and die? GOD did not want humans to die. Our first parents, Adam and Eve, were created with a perfect mind and body. They could still be alive today. This is clear from what God said to Adam about a tree growing in the garden of Eden. God said to Adam: “The day you eat [from the tree] you will surely die.” - Genesis 2:17. This command would have been meaningless if Adam had been created to grow old and die. Adam knew that if he did not eat from that tree, he would not die. GOD'S PURPOSE WAS NOT THAT PEOPLE DIE. God said to Adam: "Eat your bread with the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground from where you were taken. for you were dust and you will become dust. ”- Genesis 3: 17-19. As a result, “all the days of Adam's life were nine hundred and thirty years and he died.” - Genesis 5: 5. Adam did not go to heaven or hell. Or live in a spiritual realm. What is the Resurrection? The Bible's answer In the Bible, the Greek word translated "resurrection" means "to stand" or "to restore." The resurrected person is resurrected from the dead and is the same person who was before. - 1 Corinthians 15:12, 13. It is true that the word "resurrection" is not found in the Hebrew Scriptures, which are known as the Old Testament, but the promise of resurrection is there. For example, through the prophet Hosea, God promised: “I will rescue them from the hand of the grave, and I will rescue them from death.” - Hosea 13:14; Job 14: 13-15; Isaiah 26:19; Daniel 12: 2, 13. Where will people be resurrected? Some people will be resurrected to live in heaven. There they will reign with Jesus Christ. - 2 Corinthians 5: 1; Revelation 5: 9, 10. The Bible calls this resurrection "the first resurrection" and the word "first" makes it clear that there will be another resurrection. - Revelation 20: 6. That other resurrection will be for the living on earth, and most of the dead will be resurrected in this way. - Psalm 37:29. How are the dead raised? God gave Jesus the power to resurrect the dead. - John 11:25. Jesus will bring to life “all those in the memorial tombs,” each with his own personality, attributes, and memories. - John 5:28, 29. Some will be resurrected to live in heaven, while others will be resurrected to live on earth with perfect and healthy bodies. - Isaiah 33:24; 35: 5, 6. 1 Corinthians 15: 42-44, 50 They multiply priests and saints with sad faces pile up, perform miracles, cast out demons. But Jesus said, The tree is known by its fruit. THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MATTHEW 7: 21-23: 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and did many miracles in your name?' 23 Then i will tell them plainly that I did not know you at all. Get away from me, you workers of iniquity. Matthew 7: 15-20 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 By their fruits ye shall know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles? 17 So every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; and an evil tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Ye shall know them by their fruits. B. LETTER TO CORINTHIANS (Paul) 11: 13-15: 13 For such are the apostles, liars, deceitful workers, impersonating the apostles of Christ. 14 And it is not surprising. because Satan also takes the form of a bright angel. 15 Wherefore, it is not a great thing that his ministers should be likened unto the ministers of righteousness. Their end will be in proportion to their deeds. 4: 4. In whom is the god of this world? (Satan) blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the light of the glory of the gospel of Christ might not shine upon them, which is the image of God. Eternal life is a free gift from God. The eternal punishment is not righteousness because how many years can a person live at most? Here, eternal punishment means eternal death. God is Love! Bible answers Ecclesiastes 3:19,20 19 for there is an outcome for humans and an outcome for animals,they all have the same outcome. As the one dies, so the other dies, and they all have but one life. So man has no superiority over animals, for everything is futile. 20 All are going to the same place. They all come from the dust, and they all are returning to the dust. John 3:13 13 Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven, but the one who descended from heaven, the Son of man. John 5:28,29 28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. Psalm 37:29 29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it! it's clear A. LETTER TO TIMOTHY 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men,the man Christ Jesus! Mattew 24:36 36 “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows,neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. Mattew 23:8-10 8 But be not ye called teachers. for one is your Teacher, even Christ. 9 You are all brothers. And call no man father (Spiritual all leader etc.)upon the earth. for one is Father, which is in heaven.10 And be not ye called masters. for one is your Master, even Christ... kzread.info/dash/bejne/gaNt29Z8h6W_g9o.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/fW1s3MuPiJqneNI.html
