The Sandra Tanner Collection
Sandra is an American writer and researchers who publishes archival and evidential materials about the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). She and Jerald Tanner founded the Utah Lighthouse Ministry (UTLM), whose stated mission is to document problems with the claims of Mormonism and compare LDS doctrines with Christianity. Sandra Tanner continues to operate the ministry after Jerald's death in 2006.
The Tanners, who are ex-Mormon, printed original versions of early Mormon writings and scripture in which they annotated and highlighted doctrinal changes, such as the rejection of Brigham Young's "Adam-God theory." They jointly published more than 40 books about many aspects of the LDS Church, primarily its history. (Adapted from Wikipedia)

Mormons are trying harder and harder to come off as Christians. They are deceiving many evangelicals in the Bible Belt whom don’t know their bibles. Christians in the Bible Belt need to study to show themselves approved. It’s heartbreaking, they no longer allow me to comment on the social media posts when their missionaries come to our town. Christians are called to share the truth, and their bowing their knee to rather be accepted by the world rather than God Himself. We love your work Sandra Tanner. God bless you both. Romans 15:13

Learning so much from Sandra, enjoying this video, I find this interesting. you so much for all you do. I just have a question, as iam working through my own faith crisis a few years in and it is still very painful, iam trying to understand everything. I’m hanging by a thread to the church I think. A call with a family member earlier, I mentioned this video, I explained what I had learned regarding the first account of the first vision, It was explained to me that Joseph S, was careful at first who he told about the “ true account of the first vision as some wouldn’t understand. ? Could this be correct? I would love to by your book x

Great video ! About the "seer stone" Joseph Smith used to interpet the writting on the gold leaves, I had a thought:~ According to the storyline of the Book of Mormon, the family that made it accross the Atlantic Ocean were JEWISH. So, whouldn't they be reading and writting in Hebrew script??? They supposedly brought scripture with them. Right? Thus, shouldn't the "gold tablet" have been written in Hebrew since they kept the faith untill the end ? And so, why use a magic seer stone to translate the book which was written in commonly known language? I don't know why I never thought of that 55 years ago when I read the book. Prehaps critical thinking was not a thing to get into while falling into the Mormon god spell mojo of the faithful... "Be as a little child" and flush your brain down the drain... LOL. Thanks for posting!

Uh, the text itself claims to have been written in Reformed Egyptian, something we have no examples of, so no, no one would have been able to translate it.
