  The chain bridge of Budapest was rebuilt from scratch by Soviet engineers and soldiers right after ww2 from materials brought in from the Soviet Union. An entirely new bridge was sketched on blueprints and on drawing boards mostly based on few old pictures of the chain bridge of 1849. Orizinal horse coach bridge was designed for horse drawn coaches and small cars in 1849. This bridge and almost all other bridges of Budapest were completely destroyed in 1944 or early 1945 by retreating Nazi soldiers, towards the end of ww2. After rebuilding the bridge completely to take heavier loads such as buses and trucks, the original British inauguration sign of about 1850 was re ininserted near the bridge or on the bridge by the same Soviet bridge builders of the chain bridge of Budapest. In other words the bridge was already 95 years old in 1944 anyway, and a replacement bridge was the need of the hour in 1944. Old bridge of 1849 vould take loght traffic loads and cars and horse drawn coaches. Now, the newer bridge of post ww2 era can take heavy loads such as buses and trucks. Likely the old chain bridge of 1849 - 1850 had a few cracks by 1944. Stalin wanted to start an alliance of east European nations. No member country should have destroyed bridges and destroyed cities destroyed from Nazi bombings from the ww2 era. Solution was to re-build towns ofveast Europe at lightning pace. Stalin wanted to build a show piece new chain bridge across Budapest which takes heavier loads. Soviet engineers put less effort in quickly rebuilding about eight other bridges of Budapest. Bridges rebuilt from 1945 were in and outside Budapest. Soviet engineers also rebuilt Warsaw as a show piece city inbEast Europe after ww2, rebuilding destroyed offices and museums and markets of Warsaw. Although Hitler destroyed Warsaw, fewer people were killed in the destruction of Warsaw and other Polish cities by Nazis.

  Hola Hugo, Du hast zum Schluss einen sehr schönen Blumenstrauß für Deine Frau gewählt😀 - Kompliment! - Zagreb: was für eine lebendige und sympathische Stadt. Bis jetzt hatte ich keine Vorstellung von Zagreb. Und nun bin ich angenehm überrascht 😮. Auch habe ich gelernt, dass Druckbleistift, Kugelschreiber und Krawatte aus dieser Stadt stammen. Dies zu wissen ist zwar nicht lebensnotwendig, aber doch recht interesssant. - Auf dem Wochenmarkt ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Preise für Erdbeeren und Kirschen fast die gleichen sind wie in deutschen Discountern, etwa Lidl oder Aldi. Nur dass bei diesen die Ware nicht so frisch ist, hingegen auf den Wochenmärkten in meiner Stadt zwar frisch aber viel teurer. - Die Männer aus Bronze an den runden Tischen vor einigen Restaurants scheinen eine Art Wahrzeichen von Zagreb zu sein. Ähnlich den kleinen Zwergen aus Bronze in Breslau/ Wroclaw (PL), die man in lustigen und skurrilen Posen dargestellt überall in dieser Stadt findet. - ich freue mich auf den nächsten Stadtspaziergang mit Dir/ Euch, denn die Bilder bringen mir Entspannung, vermitteln positive Energie und neues Wissen.   Das Schwierigste ist immer die Wahl! Es ist gut, diese kleinen Kuriositäten zu kennen! Im Allgemeinen sind die Märkte immer teurer und nach dem, was wir in allen Ländern, die wir durchqueren (Europa), sehen, sind die Preise praktisch gleich! Die Bronzemänner stehen vor den Betrieben und haben einen QR, um die Geschichte und vielleicht auch einen Anspruch für Unternehmen zu sehen. Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich uns auf diesem Abenteuer angeschlossen haben! Nächste Woche werden wir ein etwas anderes Video haben, das mir persönlich gefallen hat. Mal sehen, ob es dir auch gefällt!   A Malgrat de Mar en tenen un funicular/ascensor per pujar al barri del Castel que fa 50.60 metres i salva un desnivell de 24.29 metres- És totalment gratuït. Però no és tan antic com el de Zagreb, el van inaugurar sobre 2010. Ohh quin mercat de flors tan bonic!!! Són geranis 😉El mercat de menjar m'ha recordat molt al de Dubrovnic. Quan jo vaig estar a Croàcia posaven el preus en € i kunes si els pagaves en euros t'ho deixaven més barat. Un petonàs i una abraçada parella!!!

  Yo cuando fui con mi pareja a Venecia tuvimos muy mala experiencia, primero unos policias a toda la gente nos gritaban muy prepotentes que caminaramos rápido y cuando nos ibamos a tomar una foto en una calle salio un señor gordo de una tienda muy agresivo a gritarnos que no podiamos tomar fotos ahi casi nos golpea. Muy grosera la gente de Venecia en mi experiencia.
