Scotland is my home and my passion, As an amateur film maker, I try to promote my homeland and make you all want to visit this beautiful country. Also I have some fantastic videos of Cuba, Spain, Switzerland & England that we took whilst on holiday.
I was in Harris/Lewis a short while ago. Wonderful, peaceful, beautiful places. My home is in the Galloway Forest where there are estimated to be 6 million trees. Strange to me not to see a single tree on the Outer Hebrides. Lots of new houses being built on Harris. It's character is changing.

I have witnessed the informational video on the engineering masterpiece of the Falkirk wheel which includes a visiting centre - and I am a changed man. Before, I was cynical and blind, and towards the end of my journey I found myself weeping softly to the ethereal melodies as the narrator confided in us that the Kalkirk wheel operates on the same amount of power it takes to boil 8 kettles of water. Pure emotion! Nothing prepares you for this transfiguration

Visited this great area 70-71 during 2 patrols, SSBN602, gold crew. Stayed aboard USS Canopus during transition. Fond memory of the road from and to Prestwick Airport. Great times in Glasgow, Greenock, and Dunoon. Loved the children with their rosey cheeks, fish & chips, and all the kind locals.

Interesting, at the Queen's View, you can see, the great mountain, ' Sheihallion ', (snowcapped), it is regarded as the sacred hill of the Picts. As you journey to Rannoch Moor, the mountain ridge on the right-hand side of Loch Tulla, are said to be, ' The Great Wall Of The Picts'. This is the outermost point of the Pictish nation. Your path has taken you, on the southely route skirting the pictish kingdoms border with the Celts.

I Love this scenery! But why does Nobody make an effort to plant some trees? That IS the First Thing i do when i am at a new place: planting some trees! Obviously i am a typical German, with foresters AS forefathers. I would Miss nothing there but trees! I am a gardener and when there is some soil Erosion in the meantime, then there exist methods to collect some New soil AS a basement for trees. Thanks for publishing this Video. Katharina zwing

I believe your Ailbhe met our Gigi at the Rainbow Bridge on Sept 18 2023. We made the hardest decision of our lives that day when we decided to help usher her there. Dementia had stolen her quality of Life and we wanted her to go with dignity. She gave us 17 years, she gave us her entire Life…and though we know she isn’t physically with us anymore, she’s our Gigi again. Whole. Aware. Smiling and running around again and no longer in pain. We feel her presence and know she’s with us still, guiding us through this darkness we’ve been in since she left us; leading us to a brighter tomorrow where we remember all the happy times with her. This song is beautiful and helps focus on the positive in the negative of pet loss: being whole again, being watched over and being forever together in spirit. I pray that the hole in your heart that Ailbhe left has been filled with happy memories of her.

Why the honkin’ background music that obscures the narrator’s voice? Dumb. How about NO music? Click off.
