Thanks Bill for this. While Billy's introduction is cut here, it's sad that very few even had a clue as to Ben and his contribution to bluegrass. Alternatively, your Dickie Betts 'Ramblin Man' is already at 5K views. That's sad. This beauty is so poignant and one of the best things ever to land in our laps in bluegrass, though I understand honoring the memory of Dicky as well.

Realistically, the Allman Brothers Band will always be bigger than the Seldom Scene. Billy does the best job ever of promoting all the masters of Bluegrass. He does everything short of shouting "Go listen to Old Train, damnit!" Pretty awesome how Billy F. was true to Ben's style, Jarrod played John Duffy's mandolin break, and the band did a fair job of replicating the Scene's harmonies at the end, no?

Would be nice, but Billy already has a lot of mouths to feed in his band. The addition of the fiddle player was much more important to my way of thinking.
