    I loved the sudden transition to low head speed during flight, the low head speed stuff seems more amazing in that there seems to be so little holding the helicopter in the sky.

    Sick flight, I like your style. Can you share any tips on incorporating the rudder into flips like that? I can sort-of do half piro but I get the feeling there's a more fundamental manoeuvre I should be practicing first. I can fly circuits in all orientations, funnels, tic tocs etc, but my rudder game is severely lacking

  • @CrazyZord3
    @CrazyZord319 күн бұрын

    Thank you 😊. Really the only advice I can give is to keep practising incorporating the rudder into various manuaveres. It takes time to develop that muscle memory. It also helps if you ensure you use similar/same rates across all the helis you fly that way it all stays pretty predictable across the board.

    May I know what’s your PID number? Did u follow yonas number or your own number? Btw,do u like tron 7 better or raw 700?

  • @CrazyZord3
    @CrazyZord327 күн бұрын

    My setup is done a bit differently, so the PIDs are also very different. Your tune is likely to vary as well, as it is highly dependent on your gear and setup. In terms of RAW vs. Tron; both are excellent machines, and you can't go wrong with either.

    What a flight Damon! I am waiting for the preorder of Nexus, I have radiomaster tx16, I like how Radiomaster and Rotorflight are working, I have been looking at the rotorflight 2 guides, my question is if I can configure everything correctly for a Rs4 venom, I hope I can, congratulations on the flight .

  • @CrazyZord3

    My recommendation would be to work your way through the documentation and various steps detailed on the rotorflight site and github page (www.rotorflight.org/docs/Tutorial-Setup/Getting-Started). Take your time, make sure you have no blades on your heli and just work your way through it. If you need assistance or are running into any issues, hop onto the rotorflight discord. It's one of the best places to get help. Bare in mind it's not yet a final release, so things may or may not change from the latest release candidate.

    What do you think of the quality of the OMP Edge mate? How's it compare to Extreme Flight etc?

  • @CrazyZord3
    @CrazyZord3 Жыл бұрын

    I can't really comment in terms of comparison to extreme flight as I have never owned one of them. I would say that this is definitely a quality bit of kit. My only complaint would be the canopy on mine originally was an extremely tight fit, albeit it has now worn in and become quite a bit easier to get on and off.

    I changed out the dampers to 90 on the 800. Quick question; where your blade grips notchy on the bench? Mine are not very smooth. Someone told me that they will settle once you start flying it. Thanks.

  • @CrazyZord3
    @CrazyZord33 жыл бұрын

    It's fairly common for the blade grips to feel a little bit notchy especially if the dampners are brand new and you are aiming for a very stiff dampening setup. It should usually wear in within a few flights if you haven't over preloaded the head.
