  mine keeps falling flat, the ends of the ribbon just kind of slide up behind the top part and fall in line with them. how do i prevent that from happening??

  Hi! You could try ironing the ribbon before making the bow. That "might" help! :)

  Thanks for this tutorial! I don't see a difference in the ribbon afterward. Is the only way to tell it's been sealed is if it doesn't fray? Very new to this.

  I had SO many of these as a kid in the 80s, and it always bugged me that they had the ribbons on the closed end, or the "front" as you're wearing them. I wondered if there was a way to reverse it, and now I know! Thank you for this video.

  would a 5/8 ribbon work for this? I found a lovely gold trimmed (looks almost like burlap) that I love the look of and think it would look great using this tutorial!

  Hi Patsy! Are you referring to the tool she is using when she is heat sealing the ribbon? :) If so...that is just a lighter that you can purchase at Walmart. Have a great day! :)
