100% Over rated-----his only current claim to fame now is dissing Elliot Kipchoge. Hall messed up his own career ginormously -having to retire @ the age Kipchoge is running --2:01-----2:00--& --1:59--!!!!---unlike Kipchoge---Hall is coached by " air" ---& pulls training out of the clouds--supposedly he's so "smart" he can re-invent the lawa of kinesiology& physiology w no legitimate training plan-coach or group( HE'S JUST SO TALENTED ? Right?- I reality his 5 way tie for 261st in the marathon sums up his " greatness"(??????) Was a fan---until his big mouth got in the way-----" the truth will set you free" & the truth is : Hall is a has been 1 time marathon winning, overblown powerlifter from antiquity.His opinion is virtually worthless! Theres 500 runners way more interesting& 10's of 1000's light years beyond his few career highlights.

Yes most treadmills dont go more than 10mph or 6min mile pace. That covers almost 100percent of the human population. That pace alone is more than enough for any elite athlete especially if the treadmill has an incline feature.
@TrentGill6 жыл бұрын
10 mph is almost 3 mph slower than the pace elite marathoners run.
@johng8306 жыл бұрын
Trent Gill if you have an incline feature of say 5 to 7percent on a treadmill that goes as fast as 10mph you can easily duplicate the effort of 13mph. But elite runners dont want to this too often as such efforts are best reserved for races.

Hey Timothy. I just wanted to let you know that I sincerely appreciate the little snippets about Ryan and his story. I myself race and do a lot of the XC and trail stuff, certainly not at the caliber of what Ryan did in his prime, but at least being in the 16-17 min range for a 5k. It's so good to hear the trials and tribulations for one of the best marathoners in the world and be able to see so many similarities on a lower level to what I deal with. Maybe that's why running is such a tight-knit community. We all know what it feels like and the amount of work it takes to get to whatever goal you are reaching toward. Once again, thanks so much for the clips. I'm sure the movie will be great. Mitch
