Hey there, my name is Ralph Velasco and I'm a location-independent travel photography instructor, author, and veteran international tour organizer. For more than 15 years, I've arranged and led over 120 international small group tours around the world and I'd like to share my experiences and extensive travel knowledge with you.
The goal of this channel is to inspire Baby Boomers and Gen X travelers to hit the road, travel with purpose, and capture great images and video all along the way. To achieve this I post videos offering travel and photography tips, plus other related content that's super easy to digest. I'll also be sharing the incredible food and drink I discover, as well as the amazing adventures and experiences I've had over the years during my more than 40 years of international travels.

Awesome! Added some of these spots to my list
Cambodia 🇰🇭
North east of Dordogne is the best. Sarlat is good but too much tourist and the nature is less beautiful
🎉🎉
Caves are very cool! Villages look cozy and sweet.
I think so too!
❤❤❤❤
Great video! It also kind of sounds like you were once in a band called “Scrantonicity”. 😉
Great video. What an experience! I did something similar in Tuscany last year.
Is this market in main city ??
Yes, it’s right in the center.
Ive actually been here!!! Watching this and actually being there are two entirely different things. And the women there are beautiful!
Looks fantastic! Wish I could go!!
We’re heading back from September 19-26 if you’d like to join us!
Incredible video!!! That looks like a trip of a lifetime!
It truly is, and well worth the splurge!
Magnificent! 😊
I am so glad I found your video. This is the second one I’ve seen. Fabulous to the point suggestions for travel or migrating to another country. Thanks so much for taking the time to make and sharing this info ❤😊
¡Viva México! 🇲🇽 ¡Viva El Chepe! My bucket-list, El Chepe, El Tren Maya, and all the trains. forthcoming.
❤
I love how you talk the talk and walk the walk, Ralph! Your desire for authentic travel experiences inspire me to do some more of it this year.
That’s very nice of you to say, thank you so much and I hope you enjoy more of my videos!
Great video Ralph! Nice to see Shaun and Mark went.
Thanks for watching, Jodi!
Great summary and review of our trip Ralph. You captured the look and feel of the experience with top notch professional precision. Loved every minute of it, 100%!

Great video! This was a fun trip that I need to do again (and again)!🍷
Yes please!
Can you share the coordinates for where to park a car and hop on the la brujita to go to San Cipriano? I can't seem to find the starting point. Thanks for the cool video.
Sorry, I don’t know how to tell you exactly how to get there, but I can almost guarantee if you ask just about any local in Cali they’d know. It’s just about 45 minutes by car from Cali if I recall.
How much you spend at La Plantation per day
How much money, or time? We did a cooking class that was perhaps $35 per person and spent about 3-4 hours total as you can get a property tour and do a tasting, as well. Plus they sell a lot of very nice items.
Heading to Mazatlan in March and I think we’re gonna do this tour 😅
Yes, you should. It's a great experience.
That’s Lovely! Cheers for more incredible and lovely globetrotting adventures!🥂❤️✨
Thank you!
This place looks amazing. I stumbled upon it flying Microsoft Flight Sim. I love discovering new places using the flight sim. Definitely on my list to visit now. Thanks for the info.
Really, that’s so cool. I’m a pilot too but haven’t used Flight Sim. Definitely get there!
What’s the best time to go? Like 3 days before the weekend of carnival or a full week before ?
I would think 3 days before is probably enough, unless you really want to get to know the city and explore it in depth.
a week before
Nice video, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the nice comment.
Simply fabulous!!
Thanks for watching!

I totally agree with you on this! When you stay in less places you also get to develop relationships with locals as well. I'll be traveling to Croatia in September and am hopeful that I can stay in the area for at least a month. :)
In 1975, rode that train from Ojinaga /Presidio, TX to Los Mochis. Really primitive back then, burlap bags full of chickens, wooden bench seats, cowboys picking on confused 22 year old gringoes, etc.

Food is prob amazing but real strong fish smell kinda messes it up for me
Yes, it's a personal choice, but I didn't think the fish smelled too strong as it's very fresh.
I hope I get to meet them and support them on my visit next week
Great, I hope so too!
