  Probably to differentiate between 1st batch with the 2nd batch (1st one being with the metallic paint) As far as i'm aware the 1st batch has super tight joints. They probably heard the feedback about it being too tight and made a new batch that loosened the joints, and its the one i have

  This is the exact variant I got. It was so confusing looking at all the versions online since the paint apps kept changing in the rims, the cylinder near the front and the gas tanks all being silver or not, the vehicle mode doors having flames, the robot mode circles in the crotch

  Also did you know that baiwei has released their new Optimus prime ss32/44 mould by him has the Gradient orange flames and he has Shiny chrome paint on him I'm not sure it's either silver or chrome I can't tell

  this is why i bought the SS05 variant of baiwei optimus prime. its durable and the proportions of the truck is great. ss32/44's proportions are kinda weird and thats maybe cuz its just a retooled ss05. the front windshields looks so small for me and the step ladders weren't as visible compared to the 05 since it transforms way too differently. edit: forgot about the gas tanks, its way too small compared to 05 and the rear fender of the truck of ss32 doesnt fold down like what it did with 05

  The front windshields actually looks more movie accurate. The truck mode is also lacking imo because of the step ladder that you mentioned, yes. I still prefer this mold tbh

  This is the standard v3. Metallic Version has a lot more die cast parts such as the thigh, the abdomen area, the windshield.
