This is a hobby I have of assembling a list of "The World's Best Progressive Rock Music",
KZread.com, has a wonderful selection ! Those who are new to Prog, will not have to search for years for the good stuff, old prog gurus may find a band they missed or suggest bands that I have missed. All links, tips, idea's, & suggestions, are GREATLY appreciated !!!

There is more to Marillion than Fish.
While I love his voice, I hate Hogarth's phrasing on this recording. But Rothery's work gives me the chills.
Masterclass; I'm really impressed.
Not that Steve has a bad solo but this one hits an emotion or something harder than most for me.
Beautiful piece of musical brilliance... and very well shown with the focus on every instrument❣‼️❣
It’s testament to Hogarth that he gives the song and crowd such respect for a song he didn’t write 👏👏
❤❤❤❤
I was flicking through the channels on the TV On a Sunday in Milwaukee in the rain Trying to piece together conversations Trying to find out where to lay the blame But when it comes right down to it there's no use trying to pretend For when it gets right down to it there's no one here that's left to blame Blame it on me, you can blame it on me We're just sugar mice in the rain I heard Sinatra calling me through the floorboards Where you pay a quarter for a partnership in rhyme To the jukebox crying in the corner While the waitress is counting out the time For when it comes right down to it there's no use trying to pretend For when it gets right down to it there's no one really left to blame Blame it on me, you can blame it on me We're just sugar mice in the rain 'Cause I know what I feel, know what I want I know what I am Daddy took a raincheck 'Cause I know what I want, know what I feel I know what I need Daddy took a raincheck, your daddy took a raincheck Ain't no one in here that's left to blame but me Blame it on me, blame it on me Well the toughest thing that I ever did was talk to the kids on the phone When I heard them asking questions I knew that you were all alone Can't you understand that the government left me out of work I just couldn't stand the looks on their faces saying, "What a jerk" So if you want my address it's number one at the end of the bar Where I sit with the broken angels clutching at straws and nursing our scars Blame it on me, blame it on me, Sugar mice in the rain, your daddy took a raincheck Traduzir para português
Fuck I love H… what a singer, what a front man!!! Legend!!!
Best band ever…. Also… this truly and trilogy… is ME….. was then…. Is now
Great to hear the crowd singing. But this song is nothing without Fish.
Now that's a wordsmith ❤
Fisch e' fisch e Steve e'sempre steve
Steve H is a brilliant vocalist but no one sings sugar mice like Fish !!
Steve Rothery is a great guitarist. Love his tone, and his phrasing. Great!
No Fish…..no Marillion 🤷🏻♂️
And then there's that solo from Steve Rotherey.
WOW!!!!!🍻
he really did screw this epic song ... i miss u FISH !!!
My favorite solo from mr. Steve Rothery. Reminds me of Mother - Pink Floyd
Ive always said hes up there with Gilmour
Happy birthday H.. it was nice to finally meet you on this year's cruise to the edge. WAXX TRAXX TO THE MAXX on wusb FM NY
One of the best live versions of a great tune. This is one of my favourite Steve Rothery guitar solos. The guy just makes his guitar sing with such emotion!
Definitely 🤟
Goosebumps all over!!!! 😍😍
Great song and he has to let the crowd sing it. Because he can't it like fish.
Marillion a great group
Pure rock gold.
I have no words to describe how I find this tribut to Fish beautiful. I cry like a baby everytime I watch it.
Goose bumps 🎸🙏🌹🎸🙏🌹 something from heaven 💞
Love it ❤️ 🎵
A hundred nights of fun and games A thousand empty glasses I feel it change And stay the same As each day passes They invite me to their gatherings In the finer parts of town They seem attracted to my indifference The irony just knocks me out And I love them as if I love them And they reciprocate with "help" But I look up at these mirrors sometimes And I can't see myself They say that some are born to burn And some are born to give They say that people live and learn Some people only live and live You don't know that I come here But if you did, you would know why So we close our eyes You didn't notice me As I passed you on the stairs How could you ever guess Looking at my face How closely I share your taste How well I know your place Even the clothes you wear I've seen them when you're not there You say that you can win win win If you know how to play the game But while you're out there playing you see There's something you should know She spends your money She spends your money on me
Os solos mais lindos do mundo 🖤😭🖤😭
Verdade
Concordo Steve Hothery toca demais
Well the toughest thing I ever did was talk to the kids on the phone, when I heard them asking questions I knew that you were all alone, can you understand that the government left me out of work, I just couldn’t stand the looks on their faces saying what a jerk, so if you want my address it’s number 1 at the end of the bar, where I sit with the broken angels clutching at straws and nursing our scars, blame it on me, you can blame it on me, we,re just sugar mice in the rain…….
One of the greatest pieces of song writing ever.
I cant decide wich version i like more. Both Fish and H's sing this beautifully.
Chacun a son style ! Je les aime tous les deux! Fish à une puissance émotionnelle et Steve à de l élégance
I don’t think there’s any need to pick a side! Fish was the poetic writer who told a story, H is the singer and beautifully translated this song. Gotta love him!
Genius Steve R... Genius
The last verse always kills me.
Yeah what a great gig I was there pact to the rafters and the smell of reefer MARVELLOUS MY FRIEND ✌️❤️ BUDDY
This show's H's incredible way of showing respect to the older material... in my humble opinion.
I'm probably going to get shit for this, but I prefer Hogarth's 'version' of Sugar Mice to Fish's. I get that Fish wrote it, but H's vocals are just nicer to me.
@@chrishargreaves8016 No... i feel the same way. Although i love fish, i feel like his solo work is better than the marillion-days.... sometimes a split happens for a reason.
@@nboeltjes that split was probably for the better. Both parties have found their satisfaction, and they’re all friends which is a whole lot better than what was happening in ‘89.
one of the few beautiful rock songs that can make a man cry
Sorry but fish is Very better singing this song
Everyone can sing this song, but no one can replace Steve Rothery
Fish is a much better singer than the audience. Lol
Sensacional o feeling. ❤️
FUCK that was good
Incredible piece of music
Goose bumps when the crowd sings. Love this version
What a great song. Great, great solo. Whew!!
Amazing. Everything perfect.
Música simplesmente maravilhosa.
IMHO there's no words what could be able to describe beauty of this song enough and this performance...absolutely magnificent is too little! With a sincere pleasure I leave "thumb up" under this video!
Agreed, there is one thing... it's a Fish song!
@@witsch123 Yep, Fish & Steve just nail it so well on kzread.info/dash/bejne/apZovMVpmcbRpLg.html.
@@witsch123 true, but H does a lovely job!
Nice one ! Thanks.
!!!!!!! !!!!!!! !!!!!!!
