Thats a mk 1 .the later ones had a push button to release the cocking arm
Excellent mate, 👍👍👍
Thanks
Shit with a stock
Not the greatest that’s for sure
Just purchased one of these 77k but laminated stock, wouldn’t normally go for laminated but so glad I got it and not missed the opportunity of owning one of these. Only had chance to fire few shots through it last weekend but well impressed 👌 awesome gun accurate and powerful 😊👍
They are amazing rifles that’s for sure
The second incarnation of the 77 had the slide button on the end mine back in 1987 had one like that my new one has the new push button style. The earliest version had just a ball bearing pull down at the end.
Yer my .22 has the push button not the slide
.177 = .22
Yes by habbit in that I tend to test .177 most of the times it’s now changed, silly me
GGreat video spoiled by sound quality. jHope to see much more from you. in the future.
My new mic has arrived today so any video will have better sound
Good review of an all time great Air rifle, although I prefer the Hw97k, I have owned both in the past, the 77 I had was the laminated stock version, but in my opinion the 97 just pips the 77. I have recently purchased a new Hw80k Luxus in. 177 which replaced a Pcp that I had & was getting a little bit bored with , having previously being used to underlevers I decided to go break barrel this time, so that's where the Hw80 comes, I used it on Saturday for the 1st time, what a rifle, after scope fitment & zeroing in, I was getting 5p size groupings at 15 metres within 30 minutes, so need to stretch it's legs a bit now, 😁👍
They are both amazing rifles but I do agree the 97 dose have the slight edge
Aiwa 😘💕👍👍
No ?
It's been used, and probably to good effect, some folk like em like that, as long as they work well..
100% it still works great just needs a little service and I think it will be good as gold again
OK for tins cans shit for hunting
Is this personal experience?
Cheep crap
That long 1st stage looks like the Elite trigger on the HW90
But remember, the TX200 is a copy of the HW77 , its more or less a full copy , the HWs piston shoots in a straight line when fired ,the TX piston twists around on firing , the is a walther and the stock Italian made , and they dud have a lot of problems with the blueing on the barrel not matching the blueing on the cylinder , just giving out Facts , cheers
The hw77 is next on the list to record and is currently sat down the cave waiting
they look cool , grouping seems so so HN did good
It did really well to be fair I think
I like the Ekols, they're pretty powerful for the money
That is the TX200 rifle. Not a TX200 HC <hunters carbine>
You are Correct and been corrected in the title
Are you sure that's a "HC"? Looks like a full rifle to my eye.
Correct and corrected in the total
Nice one mate, 👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Hello My friend, Thank you for your review of this beautiful, capable air rifle. Personally, I think they are a joy to own. The blueing/blacking, fishscale chequering, accuracy, just amazing and as someone previously quite rightly described, The Rolls Royce of air guns. The stock goes to the same place on my chin, every time. In your pellet test, it was nice to see the BSA Goldstar's do very well, arguably better than the JSB's, which I mainly use. Out in the field, I'd agree, they are a heavy unit and compared to an air rifle with a magazine, your next follow up shot could be a hurried fumble? They are heavy, though I've made my own sling for mine, out of an SA80 rifle sling off Ebay. The air rifle hangs down in front of me, as opposed to over my shoulder, the barrel pointing to the sky. The air rifle has to be kept hold of, though the full weight of the gun is on your shoulder, which really is the intention. Yes, its a fantastic air rifle, regardless of its competitors, just in it's own right. Every time I look at them, I just love them more. A beautiful, beautiful unit. Thank you for your time. Best wishes, Ian.
Hi Ian thanks for the message, they most certainly are a great rifle that’s for sure I would 100% recommend one of anyone looking at getting a good under leaver that’s for sure
What happened to the review on the kral?
I ended up having a dodgy one and it had to go back for a full refund sadly, I would zero up to about 25 yards then it was like I had shot a shotgun ar the target and no pellet would group, even changed scopes multiple times to see it if was that, I do plan on getting one again in the near future as they have got much better and they are a lovely rifle now
I just got one for father's day off my son, brittiant little pistol. Very impressed with the power too
They are great pistols for there price that’s for sure
Still have no idea where to send my score sheet
Says in the website but at the bottom on the said competition section
Nice one, as always thanks for taking part 👍
Any time!
My son has the same model of rifle it’s a good riflee to him and he goes hunting with it he always comes back with squirrel for dinner it’s fun to see him with it
They are great fun
I like pistols, I like em a lot, unfortunately I'm the world's worst pistol shooter, bought a pp700 and a C02 pistol, can't hit a thing with em.. Shame really, but I am useless..
Same with me but practice makes perfect as they say
Scope Name
Believe it was a unbranded scope that they Airguns owner had
@@norfolkairguns What did I say What did you say Your mind is crazy
Of you read above is says what you said, you asked about the scope name
@@norfolkairguns You know that I asked the name of the scope and you did not answer
If you look I did there bud if you look at the messages, but I shall say again, it’s a unbranded scope that the owner of the Airguns had
Please, which one is more silent?
Both of you fit a silencer but I wouldn’t concert it form co2 to pcp
So getting one.
There a great starter target pistol, can’t go wrong with it
😂
Nice video, just looking to get into backyard plinking, budget less than 200 quid....could you suggest 3 pistols you'd put in front of this one.👍
What are you after, spring/Ssp, co2 or pcp?. For spring I’d say ether this Gamo pr-45, the browning buckmark URX or the beeman 2003/p17, for c02 I’d say crosman 2240 or smk cp1/cp1-m and for pcp I would say pp700w, all of them are target pistols
I love my tx200hc even without tuning its smooth and easy to use. Just the feel of the rifle and the fit and finish is gorgeous love using it on a sunny day roaming the fields bit heavy mind you. Grand review mate keep them videos coming. One love ❤ Ali
Thanks, yer they are definitely great rifles to own
Very nice
Thanks
Quality springer, probably only bettered by it's sibling brother the Pro Sport .. Excellent testing..
They are indeed one of the best that’s for sure
Air Arms is like the Rolls Royce of airguns
They are definitely one of the top brands I would recommend, along with Weihrauch and cometa as well I’m really liking what coming out of them at the moment, love the 300 rifle
Lovely looking rifle. Not familiar with some of the pellets but the Air Arms look good.
There all well known pellets here in the uk only one I would say is not very popular is the spitfires, they where once a cheap made pellet but the new design seems To work but only well on a selected few rifles I’ve used them in
What’s the best air gun shop in Norfolk? I’m in the market for a new scope and would prefer to buy from a local store than the internet.
Where in Norfolk are you
@@norfolkairguns Gt Yarmouth. The shop here just sells low end stuff really. Looking for something about £250
@@alanmorris8783 pownells that would be well you have anglia tackle and guns up in lenwade or Norwich gun centre, what is it you are after, a springer, pcp, co2 ?
The enthusiasm at the end. 😂 It's an interesting animal the Accumax isn't it Marc? If you see a tin try some Apolo .22's in there, they're usually not every gun's cup of tea but the Accumax was shockingly accurate when I tried them. Great video mate.
Has it got a 1/2 inch unf thread on the end ? Thanks ,😁👍
Not that I know of
Nice wrap up. See you again one day in the UK. Say hello to Toni for me. Stay safe guys. (Bill in Florida)
Thanks, you too!
Every rifle has its place, I can imagine this one would be great fun in the garden..
Great vid in the late 60's 70's every boy wanted or had one of those lol!. How things have changed unfortunately!!. Gen z probably wants a blond wig instead!!!.
That brings back memories lol!!
This air gun has been recalled! Has a tendency to fire if drop on its butt stock! I’ve already return mine and they are sending me a check!
Wasn’t aware of this where did you see this ?
@@norfolkairguns Crosman sent out emails to all those who purchased an Icon directly from them. The recall issue is not that serious to warrant ME returning my Icon .177. This gun shoots too damn good. If your gun is going to be used regularly by a juvenille/child, I can understand returning it. But the average grown man/woman utilizing this gun, SHOULD NOT be dropping a cocked and loaded Icon on its butt in the first place to be THAT concerned with the issue.
@@joeshooter63 in my very 1st review I spoke about the gun discharging if you pulled the bolt back and it didn't lock up , I've been aware of this tendency the whole time I've owned the riffle . I also got mine for $189 dollars on an Amazon sale . I wont return mine , I've put the Buckrail-line stock on it and love the riffle , it puts out 28FPE without any tuning . Anyway nice to hear other people's experiences.
@@jasonnealey8325 Also...if you haven't already, try the 7.9 gr Crosman Premier Domed. My Icon shoots these as if on a laser...1/4" groups or better @ 50 yds.
@@joeshooter63 I've found same with the 22cal loves CPHP and Piranhas
I don't understand why 177 has less shot count than 22. As 177 is smaller you'd think it needs less air, so more shots? Can anyone explain? TY.
think of it this way the 177 is a ping pong ball ,the 22 is a golf ball you throw the golf ball 10 meters with very little effort but to throw the ping pong ball you have to use a great deal of effort hope that helps
@@norfolkairguns thank you! Now I understand! 😃
Awful audio!
I now use a microphone
Doesn't the barrel in your gun size the pellet. Think about it
They can also mis shape them, if you the full set of jsb 4.49-4.53 you will see some fit better nicely some will be loose or tighter fit
@@norfolkairguns ok I'm open to peoples experience
I have thought about it lot. Head sizes vary in any tin of any pellet, I shoot H&N Baracuda FT 4.50 through my Walther LG400 FT benchrest gun. I currently use a Pelletgage to check and get a range of 4.50 to 4.52 pellets with the odd 4.49, I also weigh. My thinking is the small ones will run through the barrel with less friction than the bigger ones resulting in a small reduction of velocity. OK, very small but in benchrest a variation resulting in a 2mm change in poi can mean losing the 10X and coming 2nd, it's not like FT/HFT where you have a 2 inch target and even clipping can result in a knockdown. Even if there is nothing in it a lot of target shooting is psychological and if you can take away any small nag it helps. I also agree that the pellet sizer used will size the head which is more important than the skirt which will expand when it gets kicked up the backside with a great big high pressure bump. Not boasting, but I'm currently in div 1 of the Hendon postal national comp so I do have some experience.
Great video, glad you like our comps and shoot them as they are intended, Just a bit of fun, im sure you will do better with the vintage rifles👍🏻
Thanks I’ll definitely be taking part in each round for the next 6 months and as I’ve said to paddy I’ll recorded each round as well
Hi, thanks for taking part and doing the video to show our competition. On your target it looks like you split the 2 & 3 ring with one of your shots on the second roundel. If you did that score is a 3. It is only the 6 that you have to get a direct hit to score that point (inward scoring). 2,3,4 can be scored higher if rings are split. Regards Paddy
it does say 1986 in the pdf document. but 2000 in the website text?
It’s before 2000, you can always contact them if you have any question
@@norfolkairguns would 1883 be old enough?😆
@WalnutandSteel 100% ha ha
Is there a prize for the oldest gun?😉
@@WalnutandSteel ha, no prizes, but proper bragging rights 😎
