Mark is here and has written books and and also writes a column for our newspaper. I grew up in Oneonta, and graduated and left for college. Graduated and returned and began my career at SUNY. I retired as à Department SECRETARY WITH 40 years of service. "NO PLACE LIKE HOME"😊😊

I found it interesting and rather vital but kind of well, dirty. I still would love to visit again but doubt i ever will now.

And the build back backwards process is getting worse. In New York City the actual flyers in the subway saying how to go to Oswego county cuz DSS is so lenient. And it's easier not to put forth job search papers or any ambition to want to work or at least make a effort. Now we have crime rate through the roof a total invasion by the bus load.

I help a homeless man in Springfield Massachusetts. Let me tell you it's not easy. Especially when they have mental issues. That's what makes it very difficult to help a homeless person. One thing I found out by helping homeless Tom is that not every homeless person is a dreg of society. And we all need to realize that.

Yup. We live in the area. We were there 2 days before and my youngest son commented how fast it would burn. We still pick on him that he burnt it down. I hear it was for insurance. My friend worked there.

@@gardenlady2041 hahaha, perhaps he has a supernatural gift for predicting events of insurance fraud, if that was in fact the reason. I was trying to find out more info after having drove past the remnants shortly after the blaze, but I don’t remember hearing about the official cause, but I do recall some rumblings about it being for insurance $$$.

Walter W. Goldsborough, 65 passed away at Upstate Hospital. He has no known next of kin. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 2 at 1:30pm in Loomis Hill Cemetery, Howlett Hill Road. Falardeau Funeral Home had arrangements. Date of Death: November 20, 2016 Published in the Syracuse Post Standard from Dec. 1 to Dec. 2, 2016

Walter was an interesting guy, found him going through my recycling bin one night and took the time to get to know him -- as much as he would allow someone to do so. I know that he was secretly very pleased that this little video documentary was made about him and I think it captures him pretty well. He wasn't always the nicest guy, but he led a pretty hard life for a long time. I'm sure that wherever he is now, he's happy knowing that this video exists as a kind of epitaph.

Walter passed away in hospital 11/20/2016 while being treated for renal failure.
