    Anything that transfers RF will work. many mods have cables/pipes or wireless stuff to move RF/FE power around. Tho ender IO is nice.

    Your vid inspired me to do a bus base design like this . But i forbid myself from copying your techniques & designs 😂. This way of thinking made me create some of the most eficcient & clean buildings . But it does take a loong loooooong time 2 set up :P

    Great voice and a game I love. Nice to see a start that's different than the N Forest. But doesn't the dune desert have a lot of pure nodes? I've never started there. This stream makes me want to give it a try. I'm a builder not a fighter, so I play on passive. Thanks for this look at the Dune Desert. BTW, there are 2 settings to toggle run. One setting is on/off to toggle run. The other is whether the toggle with turn off when you stop, or if you need to toggle it off.

  • @RGSha

    The desert is the better start IMO. They buffed it a lot in the last few passes. Its also safe to build bases there for the future as they should not touch much if any of it. They say the desert is now complete and ready for 1.0.

    I've been using Refined Storage for awhile now, and have never delved into the autocrafting feature of it, since I figured having to have a bunch of patterns to do it was too fiddly. I might still not use it since I'm running a modpack with MineColonies (ATM 8) and the colonists can make what I need as they need them, but it's nice to know that if I do play a pack without that mod in the future, there is this addon that will give me heaps of storage for the patterns. There are a few more items I really like from this modpack (the 1000 range antenna and the super crafting remotes) but I see now that the majority of this mod is in fact for the patterns, cheers. +Sub

    Hi. First of all thank you for your effort to deliver this design to us. It inspired me a lot. Wanted to ask you. 3 years passed and may be you figured out how to improve this design with verticality? It would be nice to be able to build several different production zones one on top of another in order to save on space and materials to build. It should be some kind of horizontal and vertical bus. Thanks in advance for your answer and have a nice day)

    I read this a few months ago and it has inspired me to start creating content again. So thank you for the comment! I'll have to play with the idea and see what I can come up with. They added pipes so I'll have to consider that in the design. I think with the start I used for my new lets play a vertical ish bus might be what is need to optimize space. So sorry for the 8m late response but you didn't go unnoticed!

    Love your base design. I have restarted the game three times, and I always use your design, with a few additions of my own. It makes expansion so easy. With update 5, and a new base, I am hoping to expand upwards, as well as along the main bus when I build the new base.

    @@RGSha it's also been about a year since i played (i play about, every 2-3 update cycles on games like this nowadays), but i remember one issue i had was how painstakingly long it took to hook everything up, and then also that performance was getting worse the more belt i added. i actually started thinking about literally treating my trains as a main bus and just have them go in a straight line down the bus...but i stopped playing before i really started trying it.

  • @RGSha
    @RGSha Жыл бұрын

    @@Layarion I think it was/is seeing the belts. One of the reasons my bus in this build was covered was to hide them so a GPU didn't have to load them saving fps. Not sure if that's still an issue or not tho. I guess i'll find out in a few weeks .. heh
