    The eraser mod in my opinion is complete garbage, as it's similar to the bolt mod, people on reddit and PSX Place when they first get a PS3 with a CPU issue, that this will not fix it.

    HELLO MY FRIEND, PLEASE DO A NEW VIDEO FOR TO TEACH PEOPLE ON HOW TO APPLY PRESSURE ON THE MOTHERBOARD TO STOP CELL OVERHEATING, BECAUSE PEOPLE WON'T WANT STOP DOING PRESSURE ON CELL BACK CAPACITORS AND FORE THAT CRACKING CELL CPU SILICON IN HALF, PLEAS BRO DO A VIDEO WITH RUBBER AROUND THE BACK PART OF WHERE CELL SITS BUT ONLY IN MOTHERBOARD LIKE YOU SAID.

    I knew this was a bad idea since I saw people starting making videos about this for content engagement. I didn't even watched your video yet and arguments against it, but doing this eraser destructive mod you are forcing the CPU out of the motherboard, it's in_san_e!

    Small correction: The voltage mod adjusts the VDDR power rail for the GPU. It does not affect VRAM power delivery. Either way, skipping this step = bad.

    Cybcarr There's Nothing Worse you could do to PS3 than Breaking it's Cell Silicon Core in Half, it's literally killing the PS3 to the most brutal and unrepairable state of all, you can change the Cell CPU but will need another 3 parts along with it, and after all it doesn't change the fact the you destroyed 1 Cell Broadband Engine.

    I own a phat non backwards PlayStation 3 does this also apply to that PlayStation?

  • @VictorHugoAlvarez-eternelymiss

    Yes it apply to All PS3 Models, I experience this first time on a Slim PS3 2001 model, which is the first to use 45nm Cell, and I discovered puting a rubber on back of Cell Cracked its Cell Silicon Core Die, So theres reports of this happening to all PS3 Models, from the 90nm Cell until the 45nanometers one in Slims until last Super Slim model which also uses 45nm Cell.

    I did this mod couple of months ago becuase my ps3 didn't align as it should (I notice this because no matter how i clean the fan, heatsink or change the thermal paste my ps3 still would overheat). Hopefully my ps3 doesn't die, but if someone has a solution to my problem please tell me. I almost forgot to mention that I didn't use an eraser, instead I use a super thin piece of wood, like the one that is used on ¿popsicles? Idk if that makes sense to other countries

  • @Sampsonay
    @Sampsonay5 ай бұрын

    If the console isn't shutting down by itself then it's not overheating. Also remove the popsicle stick, it doesn't belong in your PS3.

  • @MasterOfZombies115

    There should be a class action lawsuit against Sony for making the cpu so easy to get damaged. Consumers have the right to put an eraser wherever.

    surprised it took people this long to figure this out, I remember a decade ago when ms put something similar on the 360's chip (vram I think?), as part of the fix for the rrod people would use pennies wrapped in electrical tape and maybe some thermal paste to replace these bandaids. I get this is more so a problem of pressure, but my point is they were shit then and they're shit now.
