@Pinstar4 күн бұрын
Yes! You'll see a bunch that we have been offered that we didn't take and there may be more that just didn't happen to be offered to us at all this run.

@@Pinstar Thanks. This game does look interesting and I might pick it up,but I just wanted to make sure there were a wide selection of towers first. Been burnt a few too many times.

Can you buy towers low and sell high? Your arcane towers cost 8 and it looks like you could sell them for way more as the level prgresses... Too cheesy? Just a thought.
@Pinstar4 күн бұрын
I think towers remember the price they were purchased at, and they depreciate once you start the next wave, making them sell for less than you paid for them. There are a few perks that interact with selling towers, one that makes them randomly sell for full price and one that makes them explode for damage based on what they would have sold for.

What are your thoughts on the wave augmentation Tech? You kept mousing over it but never mentioned it. It’s usually one of my favorites just because it allows you to use those remote planets for something and generally expands your suite of options.
@Pinstar7 күн бұрын
I'm not a big fan of it. Slip amplifiers in tier 0 and mass lensing in tier 1 fit the role better. And if you only have one or two cases where a long route is needed, you can normally hold out for slipstream relays proper.

I like this game, but it's so trolly with planet distribution.
@Pinstar7 күн бұрын
The biggest thing I've learned is to get a +3 lab down within the first five years. The arrangement of the planets will only give you so many natural trade routes. Technology is critical for getting around RNG. That is why I pay attention to mainly the available tier 0 and tier 1 techs when picking my council. Though in this case I should have realized we had no way to deal with goods leaving us wanting for them as we depended on the RNG distribution of forge worlds.

In 2-point hospital, you stack a bunch of redundant items. But now in 2-point campus, you're actually rewarded for designing your room properly in my opinion so no more ultra-functional rooms that look like stock rooms
