Jordan Peterson's Guest's Bites

Jordan Peterson's Guest's Bites

I am a fan of Jordan B. Peterson. His incisive and insightful conversations with most of his guests have helped in no small way in increasing my admiration for his contributions to the overall well-being of those familiar with his works.

During conversations with his guests, he and his guests bring out the best in each other in remarkable ways. I found the contributions of his guests more valuable within the contexts of their discussions with him and felt the need to create this channel exclusively to highlight some ‘food-for-thought-moments’ arising from those conversations.

Theirs a God shaped whole in all of us and we are all souls needing God but doing everything else instead of just talking to Him like a friend.

Something i rarely see spoken about is how “intellectuals” are often nerds.. Maybe i’m missing something here, but why would the nerds from high school become socially wise, socially well adjusted leaders once they grow older? Theyre notoriously bad at that in their youth, so why would they successfully become the leaders of knowing how to run a society when theyre older? Its one thing to study and know history and psychology on an intellectual level, but to actually have a strong grasp on how to apply this knowledge in real time in the current society seems like a whole different thing. Maybe we’re just in a phase where we’re just too reverential of scientists and other types of nerds.

Well stated by Andrew. The woke crazies would not be an issue if they didn't get people in positions of authority, people of influence to take up their causes. Once humanity came to the realization that witches have no real super powers over other people the witches lost their credibility, no one takes them seriously today. Hopefully not too much time will pass before the powers that be stop paying attention to the woke, the gender confused, the people not grounded in any form of reality.

I want to live on land where I cannot hear my neighbors, but have neighbors at that distance that enjoy when I bring them food or gifts. I want to have 2-3 dogs and 2 cats that are spoiled and well taken care of. I want 2 kids that know they’re loved and are taught very important life skills and lessons early on (not just academics). I want to live half the day by candlelight and make yummy food for my whole family. I want home made quilts on all of the beds, delicious scents from candles or incense or baking constantly in the air, I want my home to be a safe haven for all of my friends and family. I want to be in good health and decent shape, to have enough clothes that I can comfortably wear in any weather. I want to make my husband happy with what resources we have. I want a journal full of adventures.

Do you think that I didn’t like teachers speaking to me as if I was just born or that was my perception wich would put me on a warpath for rest of the lesson as being a narcissist ? Hope not but won’t say I hate narcissists as that would answer my own question 😊

It would be good to fill out a Venn Diagram because I am sure that not all rationalists and atheists share the woke circle. I certainly don’t. “The Righteous Mind” by Haidt is the missing piece that fresh atheist and atheist parents needed to raise resilient children with well-developed access to rational thinking and a good command of the six moral virtues that need to be expressed in balance for a society to thrive.

I can totally answer this question.. I’ve been the same calm lady my whole life. I want to serve others as I already have been. I enjoy serving My Kids and Myhusband, but I also want to make sure I get outside and enjoy life every day. I truly enjoy when others are happy but the hard part with four kids and husband is I can’t always go outside every day by the time we work with responsibilities there’s no time and it’s just sad

The reason he went WESTWARD to get to India was because the Madmanadin cult had blocked off all the major trade routes east. Despite its enforced isolation Europe still managed to recover and flourish while the Madman cult had obliterated the once intellectual powerhouse of the ME and transmogrified it into an illiterate tribal backwater.

Comparatively, there aren’t many affluent single mothers. Affluent single women generally work and don’t have children. Affluent married women can hire someone to help. Most single mothers struggle financially. She is selling the “out dated” myth that women can have children without a man around and lead a fulfilling life. It is only true for a relative minority.

I think that if falling in love is reciprocal opening then falling in love with a person is a proxy for falling in love with being or existence. And I suspect this could be a justification for life itself. Despite the suffering and horror that comes with life often, its possible to fall in love with being and this state of being in love with being ultimately justifies every possible negative thing in life. And this possibility is what makes life preferable to death or not living at all...

Alliance for Responsible Citizenship is something the West has needed for a very long time. Our selfish elites have, for generations, gradually lulled us into an apathetic stupor in order to dismantle the apparatus of freedom. They long for the restoration of feudalism, and unless citizens quickly come to the understanding that freedom comes with responsibilities, they will have it.

They have zero interest in being good at their jobs just love the power of it. Really makes society worse having so much incompetence and arrogance.
