Interesting current rail workings filmed mainly in the West Midlands, but all in the UK. Any queries and comments are appreciated, and it would be great if you could subscribe!
Nice video depicting these magnificent beasts, however, my neighbours fell asleep... as I did! Hardly any thrashing at all. Mostly lightly loaded consists, light engines or trains coasting which are not conducive to neighbour annoying environmemts. More footage with locos on heavy coal workings would have been better. Cheers and regards from Oz. Gaz

What years would this footage be? I believe the TTAs were originally green with green coaching stock then the tanks went black and the coaches the silver colour scheme

They look GORGEOUS in Ochre! I am a lifelong engineer and worked on Courier and Ranger as a volunteer decades ago, I adore these locos and they coudl have gone on for YEARS after their withdrawl date!face-orange-frowning retired far too early replace by the HST (at the time HATED the class 43 but later came to love them as well) they too are now sadly gone replaced by electric crap that doesnt work half the time................ what does that tell us? If BR had persevered with the Westerns they would have had a SUPERB fleet. The simple fact they were diesel/hydraulic ended their lives from sheer hatred of people who did not understand how to run or even maintain such a beast.

I never have had any interest in trains but fed up with the muck, drivel and utter banality of most You Tube videos I stumbled across a 37 diesel series…oh my goodness. What a happy happy sound and what lovely people in the train world. Now a fan!

Fond memories of travelling up to Cambridge from King's X or Liverpool St, being pulled along by a 37. The sound as it roared along and occasionally throttled up will forever be imprinted in my mind.

Astonishing to think the Class 175 units, barely twenty years old, aren't turning a wheel in service.

Lovely video! Are these working this again sometime soon?
Nothing currently booked
In my opinion a true workhorse it may look like a hippo but it has such a presence like no other on the tracks
There’s much worse looking trains I think! Thanks for watching a
