After cruising for many years and traveling to various destinations, I have decide to share our future journeys with you.
With 80 cruises under our belt please feel free to join Jayne and me as we have some fun along the way.
Hopefully we will have some other travel related content (tips, destinations, hotels, resorts, theme parks and more) along the way.
As a Paramedic and seeing "a few things" I recognize the value of travelling and trying to enjoy every moment. I know this is not always obtainable but let's give it a GOOD TRY!

Personally, I like how you handled the pillow issue. Amazing deal you got, but I have zero interest in sailing on a Carnival ship again. But you seemed to enjoy it as you always seem to do.

Just remember student times and celebration after student times...not fancy but wonderful trips and arrivals in that train station...just found you..first video watch...loved it thank you!! And Victoria Station is still there..special feeling memories..I did not find a hotel till i got there...mid 80's second trip...having been taught uber budget tips. Nearing 65 ready for cruising there....Wow on your deal...I mean wow!! You two are lovely. I have only had great Carnival experiences,,,

The towel animals are so fun. And when all else fails, yep, go to a bar… double Tito’s on the rocks, no fruit for me please. Btw Phil, I see your channel as very objective. You compliment the good, try to understand why something isn’t as good as it could easily be, and “grump” about the things that should make everyone grump. I don’t care if the ride is free, don’t put me in a dirty room and expect me to like it. Gross! We just came finished Alaska Inside Passage on the Konningsdam. For a cruise lines supposedly catering to an older crowd, there were far too many kids on board. The main pool was unusable because of so many kids. Next up… Greece in October on the Celebrity Infinity. Well, that’s both of us. I’m cruising solo for 10 days doing three short back to back to back Bahamas cruises. Have the same cabin each time. I love to snorkel.

I appreciate you understanding that I try to balance the good and the bad ( or just balancing real expectations for the viewer) 🤔 Just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean you need to lower your standards ( or manners for some ). I definitely can get grumpy at those things. 😇 We also were in the Koningsdam to Alaska and loved the ship. We did notice a lot more families on it than expected. I think if you sail them in the Caribbean there would be less kids. Alaska is more limited on ships to choose from so I think that’s why you get more families in general. Celebrity infinity should be good. Nice for the med. a little older but I kinda like those “M” class ships from Celebrity. Enjoy ENJOY your snorkelling also. Be safe Great hearing from you again. If someone is commenting that you are grumpy, they need to get a hobby! I’ve lived a long time, I’m allowed to be grumpy if I want. LOL. I really enjoy watching the adventures of Phil and Jayne. Always a good time. What a FANTASTIC deal you got for a 12 day cruise! The thing that would have killed it would have been the airfare for me. I hope you and Jayne had a great time. 💜💜
That’s too funny 😂 but so true 👍🏻 It was a great deal and without the help of my brother and his Air Canada points it would have killed it for us too. We did have an amazing time and I hope you tune in for some of the most beautiful scenery we’ve ever seen. Thanks for watching. 🛳️👍🏻
I complained when I went to my room 3 times to find dirty underwear on the bottom of the closet on a MSC Cruise. I complained to guest services and to the cabin Steward. I agree they are very overworked. 20 cabins per Steward is too much.
You are so right. The same thing happened to us once on our first princess cruise. Tidy whities under the bed 🤣 Otherwise it was a good trip. Thanks for watching and sharing 🛳️👍🏻

LOL...I've been told by some that "grumpy" should have been my middle name! LOL For me, I don't really need new, but I do insist on clean...I am sure Carnival can do better than that. Knowing of the cutbacks and overworked staff, I just would have asked the cabin steward and left it at that. Sure got yourselves a wonderful deal! Fun is just beginning!!

Great video!! For an Alaskan cruise at the end of May, would you rather have the Infinite Veranda or a true balcony? I have booked the IV room on the Edge for next May 23rd (our first ever cruise leaving for Alaska out of Seattle for 7 nights) and am torn whether to keep this room or book a Sky Suite (which costs $1,500 more). Any thoughts?
Thank you. Personally I would just keep the IV room. Alaska would be so impressive seen through those floor to ceiling windows. Also, the temperature outside will be perfect for opening up the window ( balcony ) unlike in the Caribbean where you let all the AC rush out. IMO save your money for an excursion. Although we didn’t do it I’ve heard great things about the helicopter tours in Skagway. Cheers 🛳️👍🏻
