Please educate yourself before you make a statement like that. Search KZread and you will see PLENTY of black woman with their own hair either permed or blown out straight.

It’s a majority ruining their hair and call it “protective”. It should be changed to destructive because a lot of you all just watch others also ruin their hair, sisterhood has always been cap. All this money they make off of us and gladly give it away. The hair costs a check nowadays it’s a not a wise investment. So unless you are entertaining and making a profitable return of investment you need to stop looking for attention.

It's beautiful! I went through breast cancer chemo the works. My hair never grew back... 😢 I got sucker in buying a nonhuman hair and only wored it for 5 months. It was horrible. So after losing $2,000 i went to a hair shop and bought a $60 heat friendly wig... and then i was watching realtalk Kim and she posted you IG and i started following you. The past 3 years have been horrible. Losing 3 nephew from drugs, my own health issues etc... I pray I'm the winner, but will be happy for any other beautiful ladies that might win! ❤

I’ve transitioned with much trepidation to a new phase at 39 that requires incorporating Perucas in my lifestyle while still loving my new self and others fiercely. Being bold in this new phase has helped me embolden women within and without my circle to confidently be unafraid of shining in their own spotlight ( because there is enough light for all of us) without fear of judgment and pivoting because excellence is our minimum standard at every stage of our journey. I am a sahm who is suffering from alopecia. I currently have sisterlocks but know the day is coming when I’ll have to shave my head bald. It would be nice to have a great wig to put on.
