  Actually very strategically smart. The batter lines up their timing with the pitcher movement, so if he can throw off their Rhythm with that extra kick, I’m sure it works.

  I love baseball. However, why is baseball always the last of the pro sports to address problems in their sport. Either use just the umps that are very good behind the plate or get rid of them and use the technology. It is a HUGE difference between 1-2 and 2-1in the count.
